What makes the perfect senior prom?
While Jesse (Thomas McDonell) hopes to “blossom into a beautiful flower,” Nova (Aimee Teegarden) has other ideas about her perfect senior year and prom in this new clip from Disney’s upcoming flick, Prom.
Aimee explains, “I think Prom is our night. Graduation is for the parents, but Prom is for each one of us.”

At Prom, every couple has a story and no two are exactly alike. Several intersecting stories unfold at one high school as the big dance approaches; For Nova Prescott (Aimee Teegarden), it’s a battle of wills as she finds herself drawn to the guy (Thomas McDonell) who gets in the way of her perfect prom.
Fellow seniors Mei (Yin Chang) and Tyler (De’Vaughn Nixon) harbor secrets, while others face all the insecurity and anticipation that surrounds one of high school’s most seminal events.
The flick also stars Raini Rodriguez, Nicholas Braun, Kylie Bunbury, Janelle Ortiz, Joe Adler, Jared Kusnitz, Danielle Campbell, Jonathan Keltz, Nolan Sotillo and Cameron Monaghan.

Yin Chang keeps close to her on-screen boyfriend Jared Kusnitz as they step out with the rest of the Prom cast at the Tron Legacy premiere held at El Capitan Theater in Hollywood on Saturday night (December 11).
The entire group that attended: Cameron Monaghan, Raini Rodriguez, Joe Adler, Nolan Sotillo, DeVaughn Nixon, Janelle Ortiz, Jared, Yin, and Nicholas Braun. Plus, Raini‘s brother Rico is also pictured.
Janelle glamed the carpet up in a Stella & Jamie gray dress and accessorized with Skinny Brand bangles, ring, headband and JE earrings. Yin wore a cute Charley 5.0 dress.

Janelle Ortiz shows off the JJJ coasters as she attends Variety‘s 2010 Power of Youth event at Paramount Studios in Hollywood on Sunday (October 24).
The up-and-coming actress was joined by PROM costars Aimee Teegarden and Nolan Sotillo at the event.
Janelle, wearing a super-cute outfit she got from a recent photoshoot, stopped by to chat with us on the carpet about her favorite scene from the upcoming Disney flick. She shared, “There’s this scene where my character, Alex, Nova and Mei — played by Aimee and Yin Chang — are in Nova’s room because we’re the three best friends and it kind of mirrors life a bit. We’ve grown so close since the start of filming. It was just a very fun scene.”
