Olivia Sanabia Hopes To Spread This Message With Her Music

Olivia Sanabia is opening up about her music plans!

The 16-year-old Coop & Cami Ask The World actress recently released her debut single and is sharing more about what’s next.

“You can definitely expect more music soon. I’m working on it, and I am so excited for people to hear what’s next,” she told TigerBeat.

As for what message she hopes to spread, she said her main one is simply kindness.

“My message that I always try to share with people is to work hard and be kind. I’m a big dreamer, so I always encourage people to dream big as well. Mainly, I think that if I can share one thing with the world, it would be a message of spreading kindness, so I hope that my music can do that for people,” she shared.

Olivia also dished on her sound, saying, “it’s got definitely some pop elements, but also some soul and pop, with a little bit of folk in it, but those are probably the main three.”

Olivia Sanabia, Michael Campion, and Garrett Clayton kick off their live stage production of “Lythgoe Family Panto’s A Snow White Christmas” in Pasadena, Calif.!

The Coop & Cami Ask the World actress, the Fuller House actor, and the King Cobra star hit the red carpet on opening night of the event held at Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Friday (December 13).

“The best thing about panto is that it’s an interactive experience for everybody — the kids can come and they don’t have to be quiet in their seats,” Olivia told TheWrap. “They can boo the bad guys, cheer for the good ones, and really express themselves. They feel like they’re part of the story and the experience. I love that instant gratification of knowing what the audience thinks.”

“I’ve never experienced having the audience talk back to you when you’re on a stage, so it’s definitely going to be new for me,” she continued.

“Another amazing part of panto is that it is a musical but it’s combined with contemporary pop songs, so they are songs that kids, teenagers and even the parents know,” she added.

“We’re always laughing, 24/7. We kind of have this thing we do before our run-throughs — which is basically where we show our producers and our network the whole script. It’s basically like a play, we show them what the whole episode is gonna look like,” Olivia explained.

She continued, “And before we do that we kind of have this little good luck ritual, where we all do this chant, and it’s long and it’s loud and it gets us all ready and riled up to do our rehearsal. It’s really funny and it’s tradition.”

Olivia Sanabia just released her first single!

The 16-year-old actress has released a special track, called “Stars Crossed” for her fans, ahead of the holiday season.

“I wrote ‘Stars Crossed’ several months ago. This song was a labor of love since it’s my first single and I wanted it to be a good representation of who I am as an artist,” Olivia shared about the song.

She adds, “While brainstorming for lyric ideas, the line ‘I think we got our stars crossed’ popped into my head, and immediately knew this was what I wanted to share with my fans.”

“It is deeply inspired by my love of Romeo and Juliet, but it’s an alternate take on the timeless classic. My hope is that this song pulls on heartstrings and tells a story.”
