One Direction News, Pictures, and Videos
Another day, another new One Direction song – and we’re not complaining.
“‘Love You Goodbye’ is probably the most personal to me,” Louis said in a video interview on Twitter. “It was one of those moments when the song was starting to come together, you felt a real excitement for it. Just the idea of the song is interesting to me. Everybody has that song after a break-up where you do have to see your ex again, and it’s kind of about that.”
Louis co-wrote the song. Listen below and tell us what you think!

In fact, the 23-year-old One Direction singer mentioned Ed when he was asked which songs he wish he had written.
“Well, every Ed Sheeran song ever,” Louis told EW. “What is so great about his style of writing is it’s so simplistic, but so fantastic. He makes simple stuff sound so great. I think that’s why he’s so good at being relatable.”
As for his favorite? “U.N.I.”! Louis said, I love the lyrics behind it.”

A fan on Twitter took a screenshot of the page, which talks about a character named Kelsey’s boyfriend “Niall.”
“They’re a band that came third on The X Factor,” another character explains about the reference. “She’s obsessed — she was obsessed — and Niall was her favorite.”
TELL JJJ: Have you read Career of Evil yet?
The song was just released and you can purchase it now along with your pre-order for the new album Made in the A.M., which hits stores on Friday (November 13).

One Direction are going on their break just after their new album, Made In The A.M. drops.
And while JJJ is dreading the day, the guys — Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson — sat down with Fabulous mag to point out why they need it, what they’ll be doing and confirming that they WILL be back.
Here are the FIVE things we learned from the interview:
They’re determined to come back.
“I like that quote about teabags and hot water. You can only test how strong you are when you get put in hot water. We’ve been tested, but it’s actually made us stronger. We’ve actually taken a lot of strength from our fans who have never given up on us, never believed it was over,” Liam shared with the mag. “It’s not over. And yes, we’re taking a break, but we need one. We have done four tours, five albums, but we will be coming back. We don’t want this to end.”
Zayn leaving made them stronger.
“One thing that was good is that it made us really bond,” Harry said. “It made us look at what we had and really know we wanted to keep it. It also made us really focus on making the best album we could. You go through so much together as a band that no one really understands, but ultimately it just makes you closer.”
Liam added: “We can’t ever really sit here and moan, can we? I mean, look at our lives. What we’ve done in the past five years is amazing.”
Their downtime will be well spent
Louis: “I’m actually naturally very lazy. So I’m going to get a big fat belly. I’m going to be 24 soon and all these pies are going to catch up on me. You’re going to see photos of me with a big belly.”
Liam: “For me, I just want to have a space where I can let everything sink in. I haven’t even seen all the films we made [This Is Us and Where We Are]. I’m literally going to be sitting down watching the movies, watching the concerts, saying: ‘Hey, we did that.’ I know I also need to make up a lot of time with my mum. I’m not the best communicator, so I need to sort it out.”
Harry: “I like to keep busy and I like to see my mates. I’m really happy. I’ve always had great people around me. I keep wondering whether I should actually watch those great shows that everyone else talks about and I’ve missed, like Mad Men and Breaking Bad. Or should I just move on?!”
Niall wants to dye his hair brown.
“I did think about dying my hair brown so I won’t get recognised, but I genuinely believe that if I’m on my own with my mates from home, no one will give me a second look,” he said.
You’ll see Louis on X Factor. A Lot.
“I’ve got no plans to do any other telly than X Factor,” he said. “I love Simon [Cowell] and I love being part of [the show]. It’s quite emotional for me. I sit there thinking: ‘This show gave this boy from Donny a chance to have the most incredible life.’ No other show in the world would have done that.” However, “I’m not going to be looking for any competition. We’re coming back. No one is going to get in the way of 1D.”
This makes the fourth time the band has covered the glossy, which comes with The Sun newspaper, but the first without former band member Zayn Malik.
“You and me have a whole lot of History…” Niall wrote on Twitter. “Loving the trend again today.. Love how u are responding to history.. It’s one our favourite songs we’ve ever done.. So this makes me happy. Actually @julianbulian and I brought some fans to the studio to record the chorus as like a crowd vocal.. So this song is really YOURS.”
