Liam Payne is opening up about One Direction!
In a recent interview, the 26-year-old “Stack It Up” singer revealed that one of his band mates was quite a diva about one thing in particular.
“We all had our own little thing. I was the lumberjack. I can’t remember what Zayn [Malik]‘s thing was, but Louis’ was always stripes. Louis had a number of things actually, he was a proper diva about it, like, he had stripes [and] he had them suspender-type things or whatever they’re called,” Liam said on Capital Breakfast. “So everybody had their little thing and so if you started going into someone else’s thing it was like fighting with your sister … I was just like, ‘Right, no stripes,’ and then I just never wore stripes.”
Liam also dished about having a rocky relationship with Louis for a while, but they’re definitely on good terms now.
“I speak a lot to Louis. He’s been through so much. We’ve been through so much together as well,” he said. “If he has a problem he’ll call me. He sent me his new single and it’s pretty good actually.”
Louis Tomlinson is spilling on the prank One Direction used to play on the media about Niall Horan!

When asked for a headline the show could use for the interview, Louis replied, “When I was in One Direction, sometimes we used to make up different people that Niall had slept with. I think we’ll just go with that!”
Louis Tomlinson also confirmed or denied headlines about himself, discussed his new song “Kill My Mind,” his upcoming album, his dogs, and more.

Louis Tomlinson is not happy about a false headline about One Direction.
The 27-year-old singer took to Twitter to post a photo of the headline – which read “Drugs, meltdowns and ‘gay sex’ rumours – how ‘rivalry and hatred’ tore One Direction apart.”
Louis wrote, “Biggest load of bullsh*t I’ve seen in a while. Typical unprovoked venom from The Mirror. Couldn’t be further from the truth!”
The article from The Mirror was published on the nine year anniversary of the band being formed.
Louis tweeted to commemorate the nine years, writing, “So many incredible memories. Days like today are days for reflection, so proud looking back! Thank you for ALWAYS having our backs! Big love to the lads! #9YearsOfOneDirection.”
When formed, One Direction consisted of Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, and Louis Tomlinson.
It’s been awhile since Zayn spoke to any of the other guys.
How on earth has it been 9 years since One Direction started?! That’s insane!
Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson all remembered the important date in their lives and took to social media to celebrate with fans again this year.
“So many incredible memories. Days like today are days for reflection, so proud looking back!” Louis shared on his Twitter. “Thank you for ALWAYS having our backs! Big love to the lads! #9YearsOfOneDirection.”
Liam added, “9 years… Amazing to look back at all the memories and even now you got us trending worldwide after 9 years. You truly are the best fans in the world ❤ #9YearsOfOneDirection.”

If you watched the latest episode of HBO’s Euphoria, you’re probably still thinking about that fan fiction scene involving Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles, aka Larry Stylinson.
Barbie Ferreira‘s character Kat is depicted as the fan who launched the “Larry Stylinson” fan fiction and the show animates the fictional story about the pop stars. Zendaya narrates the very graphic scene.
Fans wanted to know if HBO received permission from the guys to be featured in the episode and Louis responded to a fan on Twitter.
“I can categorically say that I was not contacted nor did I approve it,” Louis replied.
Liam Payne loves his fans in South America!
The 25-year-old singer performed a concert on Sunday night (June 30) in Goiania, Brazil.
The One Direction alum declared his love for the South American country in an Instagram post on Monday (July 1).
“Te amo 🇧🇷,” Liam captioned the post, which included pictures from the concert and a photo of Liam holding up the Brazilian flag with three other guys.
In English, of course, Liam’s caption translates to, “I love you, Brazil.”

Liam Payne is getting candid about his One Direction days, living with anxiety, and more.
The “For You” singer dished during a new interview with Esquire Middle East.
“When we did the band stuff it was very—not exactly scripted—but let’s just say you kind of knew your audience very well,” Liam said about 1D. “We’d usually sell a tour out before we’d even done an album. And then they [the record producers] would go: ‘Right, you’re doing stadiums.’ And then you’d go: ‘Okay, so we need longer choruses—the kind of songs that people can chant in a stadium.’ You had to kind of write around the tour.”
“It’s a very backwards way to do it,” he continued. “Obviously people don’t really tend to write like that. But we just had no time, so it was like: ‘Quick! We need another hit and another and another!’ It was actually easier to write in that scenario because there were so many hoops you had to jump through. … It wouldn’t necessarily be my choice of music now—it wasn’t something that I would listen to—but I just knew how to make it, if that makes sense?”
“‘Strip That Down’ was amazing and I was really happy with the success of it—but it didn’t necessarily paint the right picture of me and who I actually am,” he added about his newer music. “I always found, to start off with, that with a lot of the chains and the clothes and the fashion, I was kind of hiding behind something. We did a billion streams for ‘Strip That Down’ but it still all gets a bit heady and at a certain point you’re like: ‘what the f–k am I doing here?’ It’s a bit like being stuck out in deep water and you’re just going ‘well, it would be really nice to get back now.’”
