Paris Berelc rocks super dark hair while attending the ‘Wheels’ California’s bike-share app event held at The Sunset Tower late last week in West Hollywood, Calif.
The 20-year-old actress was joined by Alexa & Katie co-star and real-life boyfriend Jack Griffo and Emery Kelly, who plays her brother on the Netflix series.
The series centers on the title lifelong best friends on their journey as they face not only the challenges of high school but also the lingering complexities of Alexa’s battle with cancer.
The forthcoming season, which will be split into two parts, will see Alexa (Berelc) and Katie (May) through their junior and senior years of high school as they learn that together, they can get through anything.
The 16-year-old actress will star as Jodi, a high school student who must embrace what makes her different and be proud to stand out, not fit in.
Griffin Gluck will star in Tall Girl as Jack Dunkleman, Jodi’s best friend; and Luke Eisner as Stig, a handsome – and equally tall – Swedish foreign exchange student.
Sabrina Carpenter is Harper, Jodi’s beautiful and extremely melodramatic pageant-winning older sister and Paris Berelc stars as Liz, the unconventional best friend of Jodi’s tormentor.
Other cast members include Anjelika Washington as Fareeda, Jodi’s best friend who seems to have it all figured out; Clara Wilsey as Kimmy, the most popular girl at school and Jodi’s nemesis; Rico Paris as Schnipper, a popular jerk and one of Jodi’s regular tormentors; and Steve Zahn and Angela Kinsey as Jodi and Harper’s parents.
Production on Tall Girl will begin this week in New Orleans.
In a new clip from the Netflix show, Alexa and Katie plan the perfect party and devise a plan for Katie to get a midnight kiss from Ryan.
The BFFs decide that Katie should dramatically confess her love for Ryan during the party but things don’t quite go according to plan.
The new season of Alexa & Katie centers on the indomitable best friends through their sophomore year of high school. With hair on their heads, Alexa (Paris Berelc) and Katie (Isabel May) tackle the challenges of high school and the lingering complications of Alexa’s cancer with the comfort of knowing that together, they can get through anything.

The new season of Alexa & Katie is now streaming on Netflix.
The new season of Alexa & Katie is here, and along with it came the cuteness of Alexa and Dylan, played by real life couple Paris Berelc and Jack Griffo.
To prove that the couple, who have been dating for a few years, are the cutest ever, Jack uploaded a completely sweet and silly video of the two during the show’s promo shoot.
The visual shows Jack and Paris posing for a few pictures before breaking out into a silly dance.
Recently, Paris opened up about playing an on-screen couple with Jack in the show, saying: “I am so comfortable with him, we would be on set and they would be like, ‘alright, you have to be not so comfortable with him’…I had never done anything like that before and Jack made it really fun for me.”
We are so, so happy that a new season of Alexa & Katie is now streaming on Netflix!
While it’s only 10 episodes, it’s still 10 new episodes that we get to obsess over, and because the new season is here, it has us thinking about a possible season three.
Last time, the new season was announced just after the series was nominated for a Creative Arts Emmy.
If there was a season three happening, the show could possibly return in late 2019. Here’s hoping!
