Michael J. Willett hits the carpet for the premiere of his new film, G.B.F., during the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival on Friday night (April 19) in New York City.

The up and coming actor stars as Tanner in the film, opposite Paul Iacono, Sasha Pieterse and Molly Tarlov.

G.B.F. revolves around when the bitter fight for supremacy between the three most popular girls at North Gateway High takes an unexpected turn when their classmate, Tanner (Willett), is outed and becomes the school’s first openly gay student. The trio races to bag the big trend in fashion accessories, the Gay Best Friend, while Tanner must decide whether his skyrocketing popularity is more important than the friendships he is leaving behind.

Michael and Paul also stopped by the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival portrait studio earlier in the day.

Here’s the film’s synopsis: Social warfare erupts in a suburban high school when the school’s powerful “Clique Queens” (Pieterse, Andrea Bowen, Xosha Roquemore) try to turn Tanner (Michael J. Willett) and Brent (Paul Iacono), 2 closeted gay teenagers, into the must-have social accessory of the year: The Gay Best Friend [“G.B.F.”]. As the girls fight for the edge to make them most popular, the boys deal with dysfunctional parents, down-low jocks and horny Mormons, culminating in a Prom that will blow the top off their town.

Principal photography on the flick, which also stars Will & Grace actress Megan Mullally, wrapped earlier this month and the film is expected to be released in 2013. We can’t wait to check it out!

The 21-year-old actor plays the title character in MTV’s The Hard Times of RJ Berger which will premiere this Spring.

Paul chatted with the L.A. Times about his decision to sign on to the series, “I remember having some skepticism. I wasn’t sure how they were going to handle such aggressive material. But . . . I think Hard Times could be what Weeds was for Showtime. That sort of first ambitious step forward.”

Hard Times follows RJ, a desperately unpopular 15-year-old who’s anatomical gift is dramatically revealed in front of his whole school. He goes from anonymous to infamous and finds his first sliver of confidence. But he also has to deal with a best friend trying to capitalize on his new found fame, a student body with no shortage of cruel jokes and an insane home life.

The photo exhibit and documentary, hosted by Nigel, is making it’s way around the globe to raise awareness for the ProtectSeals campaign and the cruel seal hunts in Northern Canada.

Paul, 21, is in Amsterdam to promote his new film, Fame, where he stars as budding filmmaker Neil Baczynsky.

Complete with his signature fedora, Paul Iacono keeps it casual as he arrives for a screening of his new movie musical, Fame, held at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino on Thursday night (September 24).

The newly-21-year-old actor recently caught up with WZAP Radio host Zach Sang to dish on what he wants to do in Vegas and what he’s not going to do.

Paul shared, “I’ve never been to this town before in my life. It’s quite interesting…And I just turned 21 at the beginning of the month. So I think I’m entitled to have a pretty good time. I’m looking forward to it. That’s just a quick insight into what I’m doing tonight. [I'm not going to gamble] All the bajillions of dollars—all of that money? Yea, right. You know, in reality, I’m just gonna take a Tylenol PM around nine and go to bed. I don’t want to tire myself out.”
