Percy Jackson (Logan Lerman) finds himself not only having problems in high school but having to deal with being prime suspect number one on Zeus’ list of who stole his master lightning bolt.

Percy gathers up his friends Annabeth (Alexandra Daddario) and Grover (Brandon T. Jackson) and they travel cross-country to catch the real thief and become heroes in their own right.

Jake dished to JJJ about the nom, “Six years ago I sat in the nosebleeds with my family watching the awards as a fan. Now I’m a nominee and we won’t have to use binoculars to see the show!”

Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief is finally coming on DVD and Blu-ray!

The fantasy flick is all about a teenager (Logan Lerman) who discovers he’s the descendant of a Greek god (Kevin McKidd) and sets out on an adventure to settle an on-going battle between the gods.

The blu-ray, also starring Alexandra Daddario and Brandon T. Jackson, will have 10 deleted scenes, six featurettes as well as a “Discover Your Powers” Quiz. JJJ‘s most looking forward to the “Int. Pickup Truck – Grover Talks About Zeus’ daughter” deleted scene.

Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief hits shelves on June 22nd in the US and July 12 in the UK.

Logan Lerman catches up with J-14 magazine on the red carpet premiere of his new fantasy flick, Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief, in NYC earlier this month.

The now 18-year-old actor dished to the mag on his favorite memory when he was 14 (in 2006). Logan shared, “I think that was around the time that The Life Aquatic came out, if I’m not mistaken. I remember going to the theatre and seeing it and thinking ‘this is my movie.’”
