Nyle also mentioned how amazed he was that DWTS judge Carrie Ann Inaba took the time to learn sign language.
“It was really very touching and, you know, she actually took the time to learn sign language and we don’t really see that often in this world, so that really meant a lot to me and it really touched me and it really hit me right at the heart,” Nyle explained.

Team Redefining Dance placed third in the finals on Monday, with 57 points out of a total 60 from their redemption dance and freestyle performance.
Nyle and Peta danced a cha-cha and tango fusion, to “Summer” by Calvin Harris. They earned 30 points.
“Peta Jane Murgatroyd, thank you is an understatement. There are so many things I want to express gratitude, but thank you for embracing the journey with me,” Nyle extended his thanks to his pro partner on Instagram.
He added, “Thank you for helping me tell my story through dancing: What it really means to be Deaf. Thank you for inspiring millions of [Deaf] lives with me. Last but not the least.., thank you for believing in me.”
The 27-year-old deaf model and activist is one of the three celebs headed to show’s finals next week with his pro partner, Peta Murgatroyd.
“WE DID IT! ???????????? We’re headed to the finals for one last shot at the mirrorball ???? I have loved every crazy minute we have spent with one another @nyledimarco Thank you for inspiring all and achieving greatness,” Peta wrote on Instagram.
She added, “You’ve torn down barriers and left people speechless, whilst showing a form of communication that seems unbreakable. Congrats to you my friend ???????????????????????? XO ????????#dwts @dancingabc.”
Nyle and Peta are also pictured at the dance studio with Maksim Chmerkovskiy on Tuesday (May 17).
