Ariana Grande steps out of her building in a white sweater and jeans on Sunday (August 18) in New York City.
The 25-year-old singer and actress was joined by her friend Doug Middlebrook and fiance Pete Davidson, who wore a Sweetener hoodie.
In a recent interview interview with her good friend Zach Sang, Ariana revealed that she has started planning her wedding, and that she would never get married in LA. She also detailed how Pete proposed to her.
“It was just really simple and really sweet,” she said on his podcast at a Sweetener listening party. “We were just like hanging out and he had a ring and he just asked me. It was really sweet. He didn’t get on a knee or anything, thank God…oh my God, that would’ve been so googly.”

Ariana and Pete were on their way to rehearsals for the 2018 MTV VMAs, which will be held on Monday (August 20).
She is nominated for five awards at the show for the lead single off her new album, “No Tears Left to Cry” – Video of the Year, Best Pop, Best Cinematography, Best Visual Effects, and Artist of the Year.
Ariana is also taking the stage to perform her hit song “God Is A Woman” from her just released album Sweetener, which already broke a Spotify record.
The 25-year-old singer explained that she said she was going to marry Pete after working with him on Saturday Night Live.
“I left his writers room when we were writing skits and stuff for the show…And I left the room and I jokingly said to my tour manager, I was like, ‘I’m marrying him 100 percent.’ I was like, ‘I’m literally marrying him,’” Ariana explained on The Tonight Show.
Despite her feelings, the pair didn’t even become friends until much later.
Ariana added, “We never exchanged numbers or anything. We weren’t even friends for the longest time. But I had the biggest crush in the world on him the whole time, like forever.”

Ever since the 25-year-old singer announced that she wrong a song about future husband, everyone has been wondering what she would say and what the song would sound like.
During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Ariana said that she wrote the song just one week after she and Pete started hanging out. She also said that she knew she would marry him after their writing session on SNL, which was before they actually started dating.
The lucky Set It Up actor has already got to hear the whole album, and he shared his thoughts via an Instagram video that the singer posted on Saturday (August 11).
“My top 5? ‘God Is a Woman’ because that s–t f–ks hard,” he says in the black-and-white clip, featuring the duo driving around in a car as Ariana giggles in the background. “Seriously that s–t bangs. That slaps hard.”
“That and then my song which is called ‘Pete’ which is pretty sick,” he continues. “And then I’ll go ‘R.E.M.’ And then I would go ‘Sweetener’ because it’s just very happy and very fun. And ‘Better Off’ because it’s sick.”
“They’re all sick,” he adds.
ICYMI, Ariana recently decided to change the title of her song “Pete” to “Pete Davidson.”
Ari explained the title change in response to a fan on Twitter.
