“There are enough of us who understand that this is not a normal election,” the post reads. “This is not a normal man. We cannot validate his lies with the authority of the presidency.”
It continues, “This election is about preventing a dangerous demagogue from becoming the most powerful man in the world…But we must vote. We must nudge each other. We must drive each other to the polls. We must make calls, and send texts, and knock on doors, and we must not allow anyone to accuse us of ‘being political.’ Because this isn’t ‘politics as usual.’”
Emma Watson has a lot to say when it comes to the U.S. presidential election.
The 26-year-old English actress, who also serves as the UN Women’s Global Goodwill Ambassador, took to Twitter to air her thoughts.
“America is my second home,” Emma wrote. “I have friends there that I think of as family. It has been excruciating to sit on the sidelines in the months leading up to this election. Goodness, I wish I could cast a vote.”
She quoted political scientist Valerie Hudson, “We know one of the most reliable indicators of peace and prosperity, nationally and globally, is not a country’s level of wealth, democracy, or ethno-religious identity; but how well its women and girls are treated.”
Emma ended her note with, “You have real power to decide the future of generations to come.”

The 19-year-old actress later watched the third and final Presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, and had some strong opinions about what she saw.

It’s an important event as Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump talk about their policies ahead of the election on Tuesday, November 8.
Moderated by NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt, the debate will kick off from Hofstra University at 9PM ET in Hempstead, N.Y.
The debate will be divided into six segments of approximately 15 minutes each covering a variety of topics.
The moderator will open with a question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. They will also have an opportunity to respond to each other.
The 25-year-old actress told EW, “If Donald Trump becomes president, that will be the end of the world.”
Liam said, “I’ll back you up on that.”
Josh added, “It’s a publicity stunt. It can’t be real.”
“I genuinely believe that reality television has reached the ultimate place where now even things like this might just be for entertainment,” Jen added. “It’s either that or it’s Hillary [Clinton]‘s brilliant idea.”
She continued, “I was watching him on the campaign trail and one guy said, ‘I love Donald Trump because he’s saying everything I’m thinking and I just can’t say it because of the PC factor.’ And I’m thinking, ‘You are absolutely right. That’s who I want representing my country, somebody politically incorrect. That will just be perfect.’”
