Lionsgate debuted the new pic, as well as five brand new posters (via IGN), ahead of the casts’ appearance at the 2016 New York Comic Con this weekend. The company also released five other posters last month.
In the upcoming movie, follows five ordinary high school kids who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove � and the world � is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover that they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so they will have to overcome their real-life issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it is too late.
Power Rangers stars Dacre Montgomery, Ludi Lin, Naomi Scott, Becky G and RJ Cyler, and hits theaters on March 24th.

Lionsgate just debuted five new posters with the stars — Dacre Montgomery, Becky G, RJ Cyler, Naomi Scott and Ludi Lin — ahead of the 2016 New York Comic-Con event next month.
The panel will be held on Saturday, October 8th at The Theater at Madison Square Garden.
Fans attending the hour-long panel will be treated to Q&A sessions with the cast and producers of Power Rangers and upcoming film, John Wick: Chapter 2, plus never-before-seen footage from both films. Those who cannot attend will be able to watch the panel LIVE on Twitch.
Power Rangers hits theaters in March 2017.
The cast of Power Rangers gets their game on at the Fandango Studio during the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con on Friday (July 22) in San Diego, Calif.
Becky G, Dacre Montgomery, Ludi Lin and Naomi Scott played a fun game after first stopping by SiriusXM’s Entertainment Weekly Radio Channel at Hard Rock Hotel.
“We spent a bit of time sort of collaborating through the rehearsal process with other people before it was initially established that he was going to be playing the role,” Dacre dished to EW about working with Bryan Cranston on the upcoming film.
He added, “So we had a bit of contact with these other actors, and suddenly he came into the mix, and we were all like, ‘Oh my God, it’s Bryan Cranston.’”

Becky G, Dacre Montgomery, Ludi Lin, RJ Cyler and Naomi Scott, who all got the poster treatment last week, are ready to meet the fans this weekend for the annual convention.
“Just overall, the whole experience,” Becky shared with EW about her excitement. “There’s so many people in costume and so many die-hard fans, and I’m more excited to meet the Power Rangers fanatics and learning more about what I’m doing. I was a fan growing up, but it’s still, like, a whole new world to be able to share this new insight with the new and old Power Rangers fans. ”
She added, “[My castmates and I] have our little Power Rangers WhatsApp group chat, because we’re all in different parts of the world. You’ve got Ludi [Lin, who plays the Black Ranger] in China, you’ve got Dacre [Montgomery, who plays the Red Ranger] in Australia, and Naomi [Scott, who plays the Pink Ranger] in the U.K. RJ [Cyler, who plays the Blue Ranger] and I are the only ones who live in L.A., so he came by to visit me in the studio. We’re all really looking forward to going. From what I hear, it’s like going to a whole other world.”
Rita Repulsa (Elizabeth Banks) has Trini (Becky G) by the throat in this brand new still from Power Rangers.
Becky, 19, chatted with Entertainment Weekly about her fight scene opposite Elizabeth.
“When we did our blocking, our run through, Elizabeth and I really wanted to make it fun, to make this scene as real as possible,” she shared. “Actually, I got to run through the wall a couple of times. I got thrown up against it and I got to break it myself. My stunt double of course was there, talking me through it, but I was really, really excited.”
Becky added, “It was a bit intimidating for me because, you know, it’s Elizabeth! I look up to her a lot as an actress, so getting to work one on one with her is really cool. I learned a lot, and there were moments when I had to hit her, and I was like, “Oh my God, I hope I don’t actually hit her!” She really let me be hands on in a lot of the fighting, so it was cool.”

Becky G shines in yellow for Trini’s Comic-Con character poster for the upcoming Power Rangers movie.
Dacre Montgomery, Ludi Lin, RJ Cyler and Naomi Scott all got the individual poster treatment, which debuted online today (July 14).
“Meet Zack. Bet you couldn’t guess his favorite color,” Ludi joked on Facebook.
He added, “Btw. See you at @Comic_Con next week! ?#?BlackRanger? will personally hand you this poster. That’s how much he loves you…and apparently himself. Ha.”

Check out the reveal of the new Power Rangers suits for the upcoming flick!
The reveal happened over at EW, where production designer Andrew Menzies opened up about the suit re-design.
“It’s tricky finding a new language for a superhero costume,” he shared. “Ours is an alien costume that grows on them, that’s not man-made. You can’t win everyone over, but we are trying to appeal to a more mature audience and gain new fans.”
