Two Teen Girls Were Arrested for School Threats Inspired by 'Pretty Little Liars'

Speaking of Pretty Little Liars…did you hear about the two teen girls who were arrested last week for sending threats to their school, PLL-style?

We’re not actually joking.

According to a new report, police in Piqua, Ohio arrested two teen girls over the weekend, for making threats similar to ones on the series. The high school the two attended actually cancelled classes on Thursday and Friday.

The girls, 14 and 15-years-old, have been charged in Juvenile Court for the threats.

The 15-year-old actually created a Snapchat account using the letter “A”, the villain in the Freeform show, and posted threats about exposing classmates’ secrets, prompting false rumors about a school shooting.

Meanwhile, the 14-year-old to write on a bathroom mirror: “I’m still going to shoot up the school. A.”

Do miss Pretty Little Liars Ezra Fitz? Well, Ian Harding doesn’t miss him that much.

“I miss the set. Seeing those people frequently is something that I miss,” the actor told InStyle while chatting about his new movie, People You May Know.

Ian continues that playing Ezra for 7 years was a perfect amount of time.

“There wasn’t much else to explore, and in some way that show felt almost like grad school in some ways. It was like a nice bubble, and I had a great time. I have bad memories, I have amazing memories, and it was just such a well-rounded experience.”

Looking back on the fan-favorite character, Ian shared that if it was him, nothing would’ve actually kept him in Rosewood — not even Aria.

“If Ezra had his way, he would just move out to the country and leave Rosewood behind—which he should’ve done anyway, because it sounds like a horrible place,” he says. “I don’t know why he didn’t leave after season two. No human would keep me there.”

He adds, “Sorry, fans, but if a bunch of people were dying in a town where everybody was cool with it, I would be out. I wouldn’t have stayed for Aria if my life depended on it.”

Lucy Hale Almost Turned Down Her 'Pretty Little Liars' Role!

Lucy Hale Almost Turned Down Her 'Pretty Little Liars' Role!

Could you imagine anyone else but Lucy Hale as Aria in Pretty Little Liars?

Us either, but that’s almost what happened.

In a new interview with Cosmopolitan, Lucy revealed that she almost didn’t take the role because there was an entirely different pilot on the table, too.

“I was offered another pilot, but my gut kept telling me to go towards Pretty Little Liars,” Lucy shared. “There was just something about that name that kept replaying in my head and I knew that that was probably the right decision to make.”

So what made her decide that PLL was the right project?

“I think the reason I made the choice for PLL was that creatively it really excited me…You can be advised by really great people, family, friends, agents, managers, publicists, hairstylists, whatever it is. It’s always great to surround yourself with wonderful people, but at the end of the day, you’re left with yourself. And I think that inner voice that you have is the strongest and most important.”

We are so glad Lucy said yes to PLL!

Let’s face it, we all miss Pretty Little Liars a lot, even the actors behind the most evil characters too.

Brant Daugherty, who played Noel Kahn, misses it too.

“I miss PLL every day, to be honest with you,” he told ET recently. “It was the best experience.”

Brant looked back at his time on the hit Freeform show.

“I had no experience when I got on that show and they really gave me a chance to blossom as an actor, and we had seven incredible seasons with this amazing fan base and everyone was so enthralled by the show and so enthusiastic, and it’s left a big hole in my life.”

He added, “I’ve got to say, I’m able to move on and do different things now, but I do miss it, of course. I miss it. I miss you guys [the fans]!”

Shay Mitchell Knew About 'The Perfectionists' Spinoff Before 'Pretty Little Liars' Ended

Count Shay Mitchell as a real life Pretty Little Liar — because girl can keep a secret — all of them can!

It turns out that it wasn’t just crossover stars Sasha Pieterse and Janel Parrish who knew about The Perfectionists, but it was all of the cast.

“I’m so excited to see Sasha on that,” Shay told EW last night at the Revolve Awards. “It’s something that they were talking about before we even finished [PLL], and all of us were so supportive.”

While she won’t confirm if her character Emily Fields will pop up on the program, she will be 100% supporting it.

“Obviously we have a huge fanbase of PLL and nobody wanted to see it end. I think this is going to be a great substitute for that,” Shay adds. “A lot of the fans will enjoy seeing what takes place later on, so I’m really excited to watch it.”

I. Marlene King Loves Reconnecting With Her 'PLL' Family For 'Famous in Love'

We have been patiently waiting for season two of Famous in Love ever since the show was renewed back in August — and showrunner I. Marlene King is giving us yet another reason to love the show.

“It was tough to say goodbye to Pretty Little Liars,” she wrote in a note on Twitter.

“But the greatest gift of my job is I get to say hello to almost every PLL department head and crew member as we say hello to season two of Famous In Love. Welcome home my TV family.”

Aww! Famous in Love is basically the closest thing we have to Pretty Little Liars right now, since all of the same people are working on it.

Well, that is to say, until The Perfectionists airs.

We can’t wait for season two!
