In “(Be)Coming Clean”, Maddie (Sula) completes 30 days at Springtime Meadows, but she’s preoccupied with uncovering the reason someone else left the house. She’s hit with painful revelations about Charlotte and Nyla, leaving her world in a tailspin, made even worse by a devastating discovery.
Wes (Sebastian de Souza) tries to fix the sins of his brother, but ends up making a terrible situation worse. Cynthia is distraught after a recent confession does not have its intended effect, and leads to major life changes. Maddie and Wes come clean about their feelings for each other; and in a shocking development, someone suffers a relapse in their fight against addiction.

In “Your Side of the Street”, Maddie (Jessica Sula) is confused about Wes’s change in attitude and drags another housemate into her plan to find out what’s wrong. Wes doesn’t know who to trust when he gets conflicting accounts of his brother’s recent actions. Trish is furious with Maddie at her ill-advised attempts to help her.
Meanwhile, Charlotte finally opens up about Maddie’s addiction, and Vern is suspicious of Cynthia’s odd behavior; and a house search at Springtime Meadows turns up some unexpected results.

In tonight’s episode “The Weaklings”, while reluctantly attending a party thrown by Rebecca’s upper crust family, Maddie (Jessica Sula) and Charlotte (Sharon Leal) are horrified at Rebecca’s treatment by her family in regards to her recovery.
Meanwhile, Wes is thrown when his ex-girlfriend Harper returns and claims she’s now clean and is further rocked when Harper drops a bombshell regarding his brother.
In “Sick as Our Secrets”, Ellie’s suspicions about Maddie’s recent behavior grow, leading her to discover where Maddie is now spending her time.
Meanwhile, Charlotte presses Wes for more information on Maddie’s progress, leading Wes (Sebastian de Souza) to suggest that Charlotte might need some help herself. Several relationships take surprising turns, and Wes, Vern, and Craig spend an afternoon bonding.
Flashbacks show how Maddie and Ellie came to be friends, and Ellie’s own tragic experiences with addiction.

Meanwhile, Wes (Sebastian de Souza) is struggling with a secret, which is compounded by the chaos happening in the house; Cynthia bonds with Craig, while Charlotte reaches out to Margarita for insight involving Maddie; and a disturbing truth comes to light at Springtime Meadows.
“Recovery Road has heart and a topic that deals with sobriety, not many shows have that,” Jessica said. “Maddie is like all people. She makes mistakes. Sometimes, she learns, sometimes she does not. That was what made me really love Maddie.”
In “My Loose Thread”, on a whim, Maddie chooses Cynthia to be her sponsor leading to friction with Charlotte, who starts to resent Cynthia’s place in her daughter’s life. Maddie bonds with Wes when she asks him for ideas on how to spend her time now that she’s sober. Later, they have a good sober day when they break his grandmother (Jenny O’Hara) out of her nursing home for an afternoon.
In hopes of saving enough money to fight for custody of her daughter, Trish (Kyle Pratt) starts working at Margarita’s restaurant, but things do not go smoothly.
