Lily James is beautiful in white while hitting the AOL BUILD Speaker Series to promote Cinderella with her co-star Richard Madden at AOL Studios on Monday (March 9) in New York City.
Later in the day, the 25-year-old English actress donned a little black dress while arriving for an appearance on Late Show with David Letterman.
Lily recently chatted about the controversy surrounding her tiny waist in the film.
“On one hand, it’s upsetting. On the other hand, it’s just boring. Why do women always get pointed at for their bodies?” And why is this whole thing happening that I’m constantly having to justify myself? International Women’s Day has just gone, and it just feels just a bit sad that it’s still happening. And, you know, I’m very healthy and I always have been,” Lily shared to Huffington Post.
Richard added, “I can vouch for Lily on this. That’s her real waist. I held it, I know how tiny it was. And she did eat. She eats like a boy.”

Lily James keeps close to Richard Madden as they arrive at the screening of their latest film Cinderella held at the Tribeca Grand Hotel on Sunday (March 8) in New York City.
That same day, the 25-year-old actress and Richard, 28, made their way to the Apple Store Soho to attend a special Cinderella Q&A as part of Apple’s Meet The Actors series.
At the event, Lily shared her excitement about the recent announcement that her Downton Abbey co-star Dan Stevens will play The Beast/Prince in Beauty and the Beast.
“I’m so excited he’s playing the beast! I couldn’t believe it, I texted him immediately,” Lily said (via THR). “Practice your dancing, because you’re gonna have to do it at some point!”

Lily James takes the spotlight in a gorgeous gown at the premiere of Cinderella held at Antara Polanco on Thursday night (March 5) in Mexico City, Mexico.
The 25-year-old actress was joined by her Prince, Richard Madden at the event and the day after (March 6) at the photo call.
“When it was on we would be on continuous days so we wouldn’t stop for lunch or a lovely tea. … You’d be sort of eating on the move,” Lily recently shared about wearing a corset during the production.
She continued, “In that case, I couldn’t untie the corset. So if you ate food it didn’t really digest properly and I’d be burping all afternoon in Richard‘s face, and it was just really sort of unpleasant. I’d have soup so that I could still eat but it wouldn’t get stuck.”

“I think it’s a beautiful gown with a beautiful shape,” Lily shared with the LA Times about the blue ball gown which was causing a tizzy over the internet this week, after it highlighted her small waist.
She added, “I love the curves. I think it’s very old and 40s, the way it goes in and out. It’s what made me feel like I could be a princess.”
Also present for the big Hollywood premiere were producers David Barron, Allison Shearmur, and Simon Kinberg as well as director Kenneth Branagh.
The film is set to hit theaters on March 13! We cannot wait!

On his growing fame: “Being in other countries was when I realized Game of Thrones was so big, because in my head I just shot a little TV show in Ireland. You’re walking around in Paris or Rome and strangers want to take a selfie with you, and you’re like, ‘Oh shit, this is kind of big.’”
On his parents watching him die onscreen on GoT: “It’s f***ing heartbreaking because I don’t think my mum and dad�particularly my mum�can ever separate it as if it’s not me. It’s always me.”
On preparing for a role: “When I’m not working, I’m either getting thin and fit to do a job, or, if I don’t have to be working out every day, I can get fat and drink beer.”
On the press tour for Cinderella: “I hate all the red carpet stuff. It’s weird, because it’s part of what’s expected of you now. I’m an actor. That’s my job. But actually, no, this has got to be part of my profession. You just suck it up and try and make it as painless as possible.”
The new stills come with a brand new sequence of clips where Cinderella saves a stag from the Prince and his riding buddies.
The live-action movie follows the fortunes of young Ella whose merchant father remarries following the tragic death of her mother. Keen to support her loving father, Ella welcomes her new stepmother Lady Tremaine and her daughters Anastasia and Drizella into the family home. But when Ella’s father suddenly and unexpectedly passes away, she finds herself at the mercy of a jealous and cruel new family.
