It looks like Ariana Grande‘s former flame Ricky Alvarez might be joining her on tour!
It started when Ricky, who was a backup dancer on the “thank u, next” singer’s 2015 Honeymoon Tour, posted a photo booth pic from her release party for her new song “7 Rings” last weekend.

“Woo,” he captioned the Instagram snap with her photographer Alfredo Flores.

Ariana Grande‘s former flame Ricky Alvarez is responding to his shout-out in her new track “thank u, next!”
The “God is a woman” crooner mentioned her ex-boyfriend, who used to be a dancer on her tour, with the line, “Wrote some songs about Ricky/ Now I listen and laugh.”
Ricky – who knew about the lyrics before the song was released – took to his Instagram Stories to post a video of himself listening to the song and zooming in when his name was dropped.
“HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH IM SORRY U GOT THE WORST LINE,” Ariana replied. “It was meant v lovingly.”
“Nothing but gratitude,” Ricky shared. “Thank u, next. … (those songs are fire tho… you’re welcome).”

Ariana was first linked to Ricky in the summer of 2015. Their split was confirmed a year later in 2016.

The 23-year-old entertainer and Ricky, who was a backup dancer on her tour, were first linked during her infamous donut-licking incident last summer.
Ariana has hinted at the split on social media, deleting photos of the couple together on Instagram.
“life is wild and change is f**king fantastic,” Ariana wrote on her Twitter.
She later added, “why do y’all always gotta be right about everything. I love you. ty for loving me and caring and having my best interest at heart. I love u.”
Ariana Grande arrives to hundreds of fans at the airport on Monday (April 11) in Tokyo, Japan.
The 22-year-old singer was joined for the promo trip by her boyfriend Ricky Alvarez.

Ariana is in town to promote her third album Dangerous Woman, which will be released in the country on May 20.

The 22-year-old entertainer was spotted smooching her backup dancer Ricky Alvarez while visiting Wolfee Donuts for a snack on Saturday (July 4) in Lake Elsinore, Calif.
