The 21-year-old musician, along with brothers Riker and Ryland, took over the DWTS All Access booth during last week’s episode and chatted about coming off their Sometime Last Night tour, Allison Holker‘s new baby Maddox and whether or not Rocky would ever compete on the show.
“I’d probably get kicked off in the first couple weeks,” he admitted. “But…I would definitely give it a shot, if they would have me.”
When Ryland asked which pro he’d pick as a partner, “We’re all Broncos fans, and big fans of Von [Miller]…so maybe Witney [Carson]. She could tell me some scoop on his workout routine.”
If you didn’t know, Riker competed in season 20 and came in second place, and their sister, Rydel, has been wanting to be on the show for ages.
Rydel Lynch tickles the ivories on her keyboard in R5‘s “Dark Side” Live video for GoPro.
The 22-year-old keyboardist joins her brothers Ross, Riker and Rocky, plus boyfriend Ellington Ratliff on stage for the live version of their latest single.
“When it comes to R5, it’s been said that ‘you have to see them live to truly understand what they are all about.’ Having toured across 5 continents, 31 countries and played over 250 shows in less than 3 years, R5 have been steadily gaining new fans around the world,” GoPro writes in the notes of the vid.
They add, “This performance version of their song ‘Dark Side’ uses GoPro footage from their last 20 international shows when they toured in South America, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.”
Ross Lynch sticks out his tongue in the elevator mirrors in R5‘s brand new music video for “Dark Side”.
The new video, which debuted with On Air with Ryan Seacrest, showed off the band’s tour life.
Riker shared, “There are so many different ways to use a GoPro. We chose to shoot our point of view of touring life from the time we wake up to when we hit the stage. We wanted to give our fans a new perspective of our lives on tour. Being able to watch us perform so close up, I thought it would be cool, but it I actually turned out even better than I imagined.”
Ross added about the track, “‘Dark Side’ explores the thrill of giving in to temptations because those experiences end up making the best stories.
