The Wanted is saying goodbye to their friend and bandmate Tom Parker.
The singer sadly passed away earlier today (March 30), with his family and the rest of the group – Nathan Sykes, Siva Kaneswaran, Max George and Jay McGuinness – by his side. They shared the news on their Instagram account.
“Max, Jay, Siva, Nathan and the whole Wanted family are devastated by the tragic and premature loss of our bandmate Tom Parker, who passed away peacefully at lunchtime today surrounded by his family and his band mates. Tom was an amazing husband to Kelsey, and father to Aurelia and Bodhi. He was our brother, words can’t express the loss and sadness we feel. Always and forever in our hearts,” the band’s account wrote. “Tom Parker 1988-2022″
Siva also shared another note on his own account.
“Hey Tom, hope you’re having a blast up there. I am so grateful that I had a chance to witness your true courage. It has been a pleasure of my life Tommy Boy. Thank you for letting us see you light up the world. Talk to you soon and see you later. Love you brother x,” the singer wrote.
The Wanted had just recently wrapped up a March tour a couple of weeks ago.
Tom had been battling an inoperable brain tumor, which he revealed in October 2020.

Tom Parker has sadly passed away at the age of 33 on Wednesday (March 30).
The Wanted singer’s wife Kelsey shared the news with fans on Instagram.
“It is with the heaviest of hearts that we confirm Tom passed away peacefully earlier today with all of his family by his side,” Kelsey wrote. “Our hearts are broken, Tom was the centre of our world and we can’t imagine life without his infectious smile and energetic presence. We are truly thankful for the outpouring of love and support and ask that we all unite to ensure Tom’s light continues to shine for his beautiful children. Thank you to everyone who has supported in his care throughout, he fought until the very end. I’m forever proud of you ❤️💫✨❤️”
Tom is survived by his wife Kelsey, and their two children, Aurelia and Bodhi.

Many stars are taking to social media to mourn the loss of legendary composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim.
The musician died on Friday morning (November 26) at his home in Connecticut at the age of 91, Deadline confirms.
His attorney shared the news, noting that it was a sudden loss, and he just spent Thanksgiving with friends the day before.
Stephen has won a multitude of awards, including several Tony awards, Grammys and even an Oscar.
He is well known for writing songs for musicals such as West Side Story, Into The Woods, Company, Sweeney Todd and Follies, among many others.
Rachel Zegler, the star of the upcoming West Side Story movie, mourned the loss of the great composer.

Former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin has been found guilty in the killing of George Floyd.
After almost a month of the trial and ten hours of deliberation, the jury came to their verdict on the case.
Derek was charged on three counts and found guilty on all three. He has been charged with second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter.
Many people were tuned in to find out the results and right after all counts were revealed, social media blew up with the words “guilty” and “justice.”
