'Faking It' Cast Says Goodbye To Show - Read Their Emotional Tweets Here!

'Faking It' Cast Says Goodbye To Show - Read Their Emotional Tweets Here!

That’s it — Faking It is officially over and JJJ is still not okay with it.

Especially now that showrunner Carter Covington has dreamt up this awesome season four!

“It was always my intention to make ‘Karmy’ happen during our final season. Karma would finally realize that her possessiveness of Amy might be a sign of deeper feelings for her best friend. She’d struggle to share these feelings with Amy, knowing she couldn’t lead Amy on again unless she was sure,” he wrote in a letter on THR. “Unable to let another chance go by, Karma would impetuously kiss Amy, and a fresh ‘Whoa …’/'I know …’ moment would spark this new phase of their relationship. If this makes you deliriously happy, then please stop reading and let this be the ending in your mind.”

He continued, “How satisfying it would have been to finally see Karma and Amy as a true couple! There would have been lots of kisses, none of them dreams! But slowly it would have become clear that in becoming a couple, the two of them had lost something that made them … them. Eventually, they would both realize they’d have to sacrifice their relationship to save their friendship. The series would have ended with Karma and Amy’s life goals intact: roommates in college, houses next door to each other, best friends forever. That is what Karmy always meant to me.”

Head to THR to read Carter‘s full letter and take a look at the cast’s goodbyes below!

“…..& THATS A WRAP on Season 3! I first wanted to thank you all for watching the show over the past 3 seasons. Both cast & crew have worked with extreme passion and dedication to make this show something that we can all be proud of,” Gregg started out.

He continued, “I would like to dedicate Our 1 Teen Choice Award Win & 2 people’s Choice Nominations to all of the incredible fans who have supported us from Day One. To be proud of who they are & not judge others.

“Who knows what the shows fate is, however, if it ends here; it’s been a blast. We have had 3 great successful seasons where I have created very special friendships. If this journey ends, I hope you will all join me on my next one :).”

Rita Volk Hopes 'Faking It' Continues To Be A Light For Fans

Rita Volk looks like she’s ready for summer in a cute maxi dress in this shot from the May 2015 issue of NKD mag.

The 24-year-old actress chatted about Faking It, how she got started in the business and how hard it was coming from Uzbekistan. Check it:

On the impact of the show: “We just hope it continues to be a light for people, whatever they want to make of it. Whether it’s a coming of age story, an inspiration, or just a diversion, I just hope it continue to be something that makes people happy.

On moving from a foreign country: “The transition was hard for my family and myself because we had to assimilate into a different culture and a different language. I still don’t know how my parents managed it all. I didn’t know English, and while I was learning it kids were pretty mean. My parents would dress me up in hand-me-downs, so I looked like a little boy up until I was, like, 10. That didn’t help with the bullying.”

Rita Volk Says She's Much More Like Faking It's Amy Than She Realized

Rita Volk Says She's Much More Like Faking It's Amy Than She Realized

Rita Volk gets a 3-D effect on the Art cover of Bello mag’s Decemebr 2014 issue.

The 24-year-old Faking It actress opened up about leaving pre-med for acting, and relating to Amy. Check it:

On when she realized she wanted to act: “I remember watching Titanic for the first time. It was just like, that was Hollywood. But it represented so much more than Hollywood: [it was] this new life and this new world we were living in. I learned a lot from just watching movies. It’s all I did; I was that kid in front of the TV set everyday,” she says. “That’s when I realized I wanted to be a part of that world.”

On relating to Amy: “It was kind of like fate that I got the part, because I went in as Karma and then booked the role of Amy. It’s funny because the more time passes by, I realize how similar I am to her. A lot of what she does and how she perceives things, I think, is driven by the fact that she has this sense of really being able to take herself out of a situation and really knowing what’s important. On my end, I can relate to that. Growing up, when I moved to the states, my parents were on welfare for a while. So the last thing on my mind was, “am I wearing the coolest jeans? Am I fitting in?” You get this higher sense of awareness of what really goes on in the world,”

On leaving pre-med behind: “I loved learning and I loved medicine, but it was weird because I felt like I was living two lives. There was what I wanted to do, which was act, and there was what I felt I had to do. It wasn’t what I wanted to get out of bed every morning and do everyday. In retrospect, I’m glad that I had the experience. You don’t realize how much you learn until you get out of it and grow up a little bit. I had a really great education, and I just realized that probably within the last few years.”
