KJ Apa Reveals Which 'Riverdale' Co-Star He Thinks Is Most Like Their Character

KJ Apa Reveals Which 'Riverdale' Co-Star He Thinks Is Most Like Their Character

KJ Apa + puppies = cutest video ever!

The 22-year-old Riverdale star recently played with puppies and answered fan questions in a new video with Buzzfeed.

One of the questions he was asked was, “Who in the Riverdale cast is most (and least) like their on-screen character?”

“I don’t know, I think Cole‘s pretty similar to Jughead, just the broody kind of, you know, he’s intelligent too,” he says. “He’s pretty funny, he’s got a dark sense of humor. Sorry bro, I know he would hate to hear that, but it’s true.”

“We’re all pretty similar to our characters, I think. You know, and I think in a way that’s why actors get cast, because they bring their energy to the character, as well as bringing everything else that the writing gives,” KJ added.

As for who is least like their character…

Nathalie Boltt, who plays Penelope Blossom, is a really incredible actor because she plays the weirdness of that character so well,” KJ said. “I think she’s probably the most different because she’s a really incredible person in real life.”

Here's Why 'Riverdale' Fans Think Season 4 Ends With a Huge Time Jump

Here's Why 'Riverdale' Fans Think Season 4 Ends With a Huge Time Jump

Riverdale may still be in the middle of its fourth season, but some viewers think they know how its going to conclude.

Fans began to speculate that the season will end with a five-year time jump after a TVLine blind item hinted that a broadcast network program had plans to make a narrative-altering jump.

This means that the Riverdale crew, who are currently in their senior year of high school, would fast forward to their post-college years.

β€œA time jump is the best way to do it. They can’t follow them to a bunch of different schools. There will be a mystery/problem that brings them all back to Riverdale after college and the show will continue from there,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

Fans say that Skeet Ulrich and Marisol Nichols‘ departure from the show also supports the theory as it shifts the focus away from parents, who would have less involvement in the cast’s lives as young adults.

The five-year jump would also bring the timeline up to speed with Katy Keene, allowing for more crossover episodes.

The Riverdale team has yet to confirm the news but we can’t wait to see what’s to come in season five!

These 2 Stars Just Announced They Are Leaving 'Riverdale'

Riverdale is losing two of it’s stars at the end of the current season!

Skeet Ulrich and Marisol Nichols have both announced they are exiting the hit CW series.

β€œI’m incredibly grateful for the friendships I’ve made on Riverdale, and I will miss seeing everyone on a daily basis,” Skeet told TVLine. β€œI’m proud to have been part of such a talented group of people, in front of the camera and behind. But I’ve decided that it’s time for me to move on to explore other creative opportunities.”

“I had an incredible time bringing Hermione Lodge to life and working with my amazing cast, who became family,” Marisol said to TVLine. β€œWe had so many wonderful times together during the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. We really do have the best fans ever. I am looking forward to the next chapter and am excited about the future.”

Skeet of course played FP Jones, Jughead’s dad, while Marisol played Veronica’s mom Hermoine Lodge. No word yet on how their exits will be written into the show.
