Ronni Hawk Apologizes to Fans After Pro-Trump Tweets Surface Just as 'On My Block' is Renewed For Season 2

Ronni Hawk is reaching out to her fans with an apology after a few pro-Donald Trump tweets resurfaced.

The actress, who stars in Netflix’s On My Block, had tweeted out her support for Donald Trump as he was running for President of the United States.

Shortly after the tweets were uncovered, fans of the Netflix show (which had just been renewed for season 2), were called for her role to be re-cast.

Now, Ronni has issued an apology about the tweets she wrote.

“To be honest, I’m nervous to speak up knowing whatever I write at this point won’y make everyone happy,” Ronni writes. “The truth is that I was 16 years old when I put that post out there and at 18, I know know that I am not informed enough on several different subjects to be posting blindly.”

She adds, “What I do know, is that being on this show has been one of the most special things in my life and I do not take it for granted. I learned to much from this show – about injustices that take place in this world and that being silent is just as bad as doing nothing.”

Also in attendance were host Michelle Monaghan, Power Rangers co-stars RJ Cyler and Dacre Montgomery, Laura Marano, Garrett Clayton, siblings Thomas and Brielle Barbusca, Steven R. McQueen, On My Block‘s Ronni Hawk, Famous In Love‘s Niki Koss, Sophie Reynolds, Luke Benward, Tegan Marie, and Candis Cayne.

FYI: Michelle wore an Alice Temperley dress. Garrett wore a Topman suit. Dacre wore head to toe Salvatore Ferragamo. Olesya is wearing a Majorelle dress from Revolve and Manolo Blahnik shoes. Cameron is wearing a Gucci suit, a Topman shirt, and an Issey Miyake tie. Niki is wearing a Bronx and Banco dress, Windsor Smith shoes, Amyo Jewelry necklaces, and a Gabriel New York ring and earrings.

Ronni Hawk Debuts Brand New Look For 'On My Block' Premiere

Ronni Hawk completely changed her look up for the premiere of On My Block on Wednesday night (March 14) in Los Angeles.

The 18-year-old actress joined her co-stars Jessica Marie Garcia, Brett Gray, Diego Tinoco, Jason Genao, and Sierra Capri for the red carpet event.

If you don’t know, On My Block is a new Netflix series premiering TOMORROW, March 16th.

The series is a coming of age comedy about four bright and street-savvy friends navigating their way through the triumph, pain and the newness of high-school set in LA’s South Central neighborhood.

Ronni Hawk gets very confused in the newly released trailer for her upcoming Netflix series On My Block.

The actress is joined in the new show by Jessica Marie Garcia, they both were previously in Disney Channel shows!

Ronni starred as the oldest sister, Rachel, on Stuck In The Middle, but her character went off to an educational opportunity in Paris. Jessica had a recurring role on Liv & Maddie as Willow, Maddie’s best friend.

On My Block is “a coming of age comedy about four bright and street-savvy friends navigating their way through the triumph, pain and the newness of high-school set in the rough inner city of Los Angeles.”

The show, which was co-created by Lauren Iungerich, who created Awkward, hits Netflix on March 16!

Happy 18th birthday, Ronni Hawk!

The Stuck in the Middle actress has been getting so much love from her Disney Channel co-stars today.

“Happy Happy Birthday to my fellow Floridian and big sister @ronnihawk,” Ariana Greenblatt captioned the cute Instagram photo below, along with lots of unicorn and kissing face emojis.

“This was from the very first time we met as official Diaz sisters,” Ariana added. “I love you Ronni and hope your having an amazing day #diazsisterhood #disneyfamily.”

Their other co-stars Malachi Barton, Nicolas Bechtel, and Cerina Vincent shared their birthday tributes as well.
