The Nerdy Nummies influencer revealed that she was hospitalized with a major infection to her fans on social media.
“Went to Urgent Care with a crazy fever and intense pain. They said I needed to go to the ER immediately. Did a bunch of tests (including this CT scan 😎) and found I had a major internal infection. We began treatment right away,” the 34-year-old Internet personality wrote on her Twitter account.
“They also performed a Spinal Tap (draining spinal fluid) as I had all the symptoms of life-threatening issues. Thanks to the amazing @CedarsSinai staff for taking care of me. Im on bedrest all week to recover and allow the internal swelling to go down.”
Rosanna Pansino is recovering from having surgery Saturday morning (October 6).
The Nerdy Nummies YouTuber decided to freeze her eggs, also known as mature oocyte cryopreservation.
“Good morning ☕️ I’m having surgery today. I finally decided to freeze my eggs. I have been on hormones and daily injections for 5 weeks. I’m really excited but also nervous,” she tweeted that morning. “Just now waking up from surgery. They said it was a complete success! I have to be in bed rest all day and take it easy for a couple weeks.”

The 33-year-old chef and digital influencer revealed the big news on her Instagram, along with the gorgeous cover.
“I am so excited to finally announce one of the secret projects I’ve been working on for more than a year! I’m releasing a new cookbook!” she excitedly captioned.
Titled, “Baking All Year Round”, the new cookbook will hit shelves in October and is also available for pre-order now.
Rosanna adds, “This book includes recipes for the holidays and special occasions I celebrated growing up. It has you covered all year round!”
