This is great news – Ryan Guzman has just been tapped to join the Heroes Reborn series coming to NBC, Deadline reports!
The 27-year-old Boy Next Door actor will star in the series which is a spinoff of the original Heroes television show. The new series will be toplined by Jack Coleman and Zachary Levi.
Finding Cody‘s Gatlin Green has also been added to the growing cast.
We aren’t totally sure which roles Ryan and Gatlin will be playing, but casting breakdowns suggest Ryan could star as an ex-military guy and Gatlin as a popular girl.

Nick Jonas and his brother Joe are dapper fellas while attending GQ’s New Z Zegna Collection Celebration held at Philymack Studios on Thursday (February 5) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 27-year-old actor’s appearance on Watch What Happens Live alongside his The Boy Next Door co-star Jennifer Lopez aired later that night.
Ryan recently opened up to BuzzFeed about the sweetest thing he has done for love.
“Probably taking a girl out to dinner and then getting front row seats to her favorite artist. I also bought her this instrument that she had been talking about for about a year but didn’t realize that I picked up on it. And then I made her favorite cake and that was it,” Ryan said. So sweet!

Ryan Guzman dishes on the way he likes to end relationships when they’re going south in this new video with his The Boy Next Door co-star Jennifer Lopez.
In case you didn’t know, the film follows a recently divorced woman (Lopez) who falls for a younger man (Guzman) who just moved in across the street, though their torrid affair takes an obsessive, dangerous turn. You can catch the movie in theaters on January 23, as long as you’re 17 or older!
“Is there any good way to end a relationship, you know, just be friends?” Jennifer asks Ryan. He responds saying, “You cannot be nice! No! You gotta take it like a band-aid. Quick and easy.”
