Sabrina will voice Melissa Chase and Mekai as Zack Underwood, both Milo’s friends
Milo Murphy’s Law centers on fictional great-great-great grandson of the man who inspired the term “Murphy’s Law.” Suffering from Extreme Hereditary Murphy’s Law condition (EHML), Milo always looks to make the best of the cards he’s been dealt and his endless optimism and enthusiasm can turn any catastrophe into a wild adventure.
“2/19 Boutta get lit (I’ll never say that again I promise) This is just the start. All for you guys. #SmokeAndFire,” she tweeted.
The song is about a recent breakup.
“I hadn’t written for, I want to say, eight months since the first album released, and I just had a lot of stories building up,” Sabrina told Instagram. “I kind of write wherever I go. So even when I’m not in a professional session, I’m always writing down things in my phone and in my notes on stuff that inspired me and stuff that I see in everyday life.”
ARE YOU EXCTIED to hear Sabrina Carpenter’s new song?
The 16-year-old Girl Meets World actress shares the cover duties with fellow singer Madison Beer.
Here’s what Sabrina had to share:
On growing up in the industry: “I didn’t truly ‘grow up’ in the industry, I grew up In a small town in Pennsylvania until the past few years. Now I’m just doing what I love in a place where the weather is a little warmer and nobody’s hair is real. I get to play dress up more often, and it’s fun.”
On her next album: “Recently, I’ve been focused on writing my second album so writing music has been a process where I find myself the most artistically satisfied because I’m telling my stories in an unconventional way. I love every area of art that I study though.”
On stepping into the Boy Meets World family: “I didn’t feel any singular pressure on myself because I was coming into a new show [Girl Meets World] as a new character that nobody knew. That gave me the creativity to build her personality and quirks. Coming into the cast of a show that made such a permanent mark on the world and held seven seasons under their belt was intimidating, but they welcomed us like family.”
In tonight’s episode, “Girl Meets STEM”, Riley is upset when the boys at school — more specifically Farkle (Corey Fogelmanis) — won’t let her participate in a science experiment and attempts to become more involved.
The 16-year-old singer and Girl Meets World actress gave a shout out to her fans on Twitter ahead of her New Year’s Eve festivities.
“What a year…I tried coffee for the first time and released my first album and met SO many of you guys. Seriously thankful for every one of you. I can’t wait to take you along for the ride in 2016,” she wrote.
Sabrina also brought up her New Year’s resolution from last year — and it’s a good one!
The 16-year-old Girl Meets World actress opened up about the show, acting and music. Check it:
On playing Maya Hart: “Something about reading for Maya just came so naturally to me. She’s definitely a force to be reckoned with, but I think that’s the great thing about her. She’s got so many layers. Just through these two seasons, I have learned so much about her and have gotten to do a lot of different things emotionally.”
On her very first role on Law & Order: SVU: “I didn’t really know what acting was at that point, and it took me a couple of years to get started. So when I was around 11, I booked my first role, and it was a much more serious role than I ever thought I’d be doing, but I think that’s what showed me that there was maybe a career in it. That’s the cool thing about being a kid in the industry. You have so much vulnerability and curiosity because you don’t know what you’re doing until you’re a couple years in. But we still don’t know what we’re doing. We’re just pretending that we do.”
On how she grew up while recording her first album: “I learned more about myself in the past two years than I think a human should. But I think it was great because it taught me so much. There’s so much behind things that you don’t understand until you’re actually in the process of making your first album.”
