“I can’t wait to do it again,” she told Vanity Fair about performing. “I’ve been lucky that I’ve been able to speak through my art, in my voice, and not hold back. In the music world, you depend on yourself for artistic creativity and freedom.”
Sabrina adds about learning how to tour and connect with fans on stage: “There’s no way you can prepare yourself for a tour. There’s no class, no online tutorials…it’s a whirlwind.”
“You’re going to cities you haven’t been to before, and people are singing your lyrics with you—things you wrote one day when you thought of something funny or meaningful—and it means something to other people. Your energy just feeds off your audience, and of course the incredible crew I traveled with that became like family.”
However, to keep sane, she has one trick up her sleeve: chocolate cake!
“I just found out how to get slices of cake delivered to my house—so in my downtime, I order cake. Chocolate cake would appear at the end of a perfect day in L.A.”
The “Smoke and Fire” singer and social star were tapped by the beauty brand as the newest influencers to join them, along with Kandee Johnson and Etienne Ortega.
“At my age, you don’t want to spend $100 to have nice eyelashes,” Sabrina shared with WWD about the partnership. “I’m in love with the world of fashion and the world of art. To be able to jump into the world of beauty was something I was really excited about because it really connects with people.”
Gigi adds, “It’s always been a staple at the drugstore, and when I started buying makeup, I always went to Revlon because I knew they had my back when it came to beauty.”
