Sabrina Carpenter Just Couldn't Pick Her Favorite 'Girl Meets World' Costar

Sabrina Carpenter Just Couldn't Pick Her Favorite 'Girl Meets World' Costar

Making someone pick a favorite costar is like picking your favorite book — you just can’t pick one — and Sabrina Carpenter definitely knows that.

When asked to name her fave co-star during a visit to Seacrest Studios at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, Texas earlier this month, she just couldn’t.

“My favorite friend? You’re going to make me pick? I’m gonna get angry texts from whoever I don’t say,” she reasoned.

Sabrina did pick one though, but not as her fave co-star: “Who know who makes me laugh so much? Ben Savage, who plays Cory – Cory Matthews, our teacher. He’s the funniest person in real life and on screen.”

“I started the show when I was 13-years-old, so I’ve grown up the past four years on the show with the people around me, and it’s so much fun.”

If Sabrina Carpenter ever needed a twin for a movie role, and her sister Sarah wasn’t available, she should definitely look at Lizzy Greene.

Sabrina Carpenter & Yara Shahidi Believe There Are 'No Mistakes' in Beauty

Sabrina Carpenter & Yara Shahidi Believe There Are 'No Mistakes' in Beauty

Sabrina Carpenter and Yara Shahidi are opening up about being uniquely yourself and not letting anybody else judge you for it.

The “Thumbs” singer and the Black-ish actress posed for some gorgeous shots in Glamour magazine’s April issue, on national newsstands March 14 and available now on Glamour.com. Here’s what they told the mag:

How Sabrina sees beauty ideals evolving: “I definitely feel a shift, like now there’s no mistakes. Sure, everyone has an opinion, and people might be judgmental. But there’s a little bit more room for error nowadays, especially when it comes to trying different things, experimenting with who you are, and knowing that change is accepted. There is no right thing, really, when it comes to being yourself.”

What irks Yara most about traditional beauty standards: “I feel like it’s no big surprise to anybody that traditional beauty standards are very Eurocentric, which do not reflect nearly the majority of our society. So rather than trying to base them off one type of person, it’s about redefining them by not defining them. If there’s a definition of what it means to be beautiful, that means there’s a definition of what it means to not be beautiful.”

Also featured in the issue are Kate Mara, Lily Collins, Annalise Basso, Brit Marling, Halston Sage, Jenny Slate, Martha Hunt, Tinashe, and Jen Atkin.

Sabrina Carpenter & Lauren Jauregui Praise Noah Cyrus

Sabrina Carpenter & Lauren Jauregui Praise Noah Cyrus

General consensus is that Noah Cyrus killed it last night with her heart-wrenching performance of “Make Me (Cry), and Sabrina Carpenter and Fifth Harmony‘s Lauren Jauregui certainly aren’t arguing.

Both the Girl Meets World star and Fifth Harmony singer posted pictures with the budding starlet on Instagram at the 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

“You were so bright on that stage last night @noahcyrus love u!!!,” Sabrina posted on her Instagram, along with a black-and-white photo of the two of them posing together.

“Our nugget @noahcyrus absolutely slayyyed last night, so proud of you mama” Lauren praised.

It’s so cool that all of these stars are reaching out to Noah — who wore a nose ring in her septum, see the pics here — and supporting her when her career is just getting started.

Having female role models like Sabrina and Lauren will likely make a world of difference.

Sabrina Carpenter Sings 'Andi Mack's Theme Song!

Sabrina Carpenter Sings 'Andi Mack's Theme Song!

Sabrina Carpenter may not be starring on Disney Channel right now, but that doesn’t mean she’s gone for good.

The former Girl Meets World star lent her vocal talents for the theme song for Disney’s new series, Andi Mack.

The theme song is titled “Tomorrow Starts Today” and plays over the main title sequence.

“I’m very proud to contribute even a small part to a show that has such a valuable message and what feels to me to be something really new,” Sabrina shared about being a part of the series.

She adds, “The message of ‘taking whatever comes your way with a positive attitude, and sticking by the ones you love’ is something I really connect with.”
