Also starring James Franco and based on “Indignation” by Philip Roth, the mini-series will be set in 1951 and focuses on Marcus (Lerman), the 18-year-old son of a kosher butcher in Newark who grapples with anti-Semitism, sexual repression and the escalating Korean War as he comes of age at a Midwestern Lutheran college.
Into his life comes Olivia Hutton (Gadon). Blonde and pretty, Olivia goes on a date with Marcus and is attracted to his intensity.

The actors were seen working in a woodsy area of the VanDusen Botanical Garden. Coincidentally, Jamie was seen just a few weeks ago working on his highly anticipated movie Fifty Shades of Grey in the woods of Vancouver!
The 9th Life of Louis Drax is about a psychologist (Dornan) who begins working with a young boy who has suffered a near-fatal fall and finds himself drawn into a mystery that tests the boundaries of fantasy and reality.
