Sarah Hyland dolls up in a gorgeous Anaikka gown for the December 2012 cover of Glamoholic.
The 22-year-old actress opened up about her new movie, Struck by Lightning, and working along the amazing cast. Check it:
On movies versus television: “That would be cool doing movies, but I love television. So I don’t know, but I don’t think anything could top Modern Family for me.”
On Struck by Lightning: “I hope people take away the lesson of never letting your creativity or imagination go. That if you have a dream or passion, you should go for it and not take ‘no’ as an answer. It’s impertinent that young children, even teenagers, should read, write and most importantly dream.”
On working with the cast: “It was such an amazing experience. Rebel [Wilson] is one of the funniest human beings I have ever met. Out of all the amazing comedic actors I’ve worked with over my career, Rebel was the hardest person to work with purely because you couldn’t keep a straight face. Christina [Hendricks] was such a sweetheart and so kind to everyone on set. And then there’s Chris [Colfer], who is not only an amazing person but one of the most well-rounded, talented people, if not the most, in young Hollywood. I love to see how his brain works.”

The 22-year-old Modern Family actress opened up about stepping up her fashion game, her longtime boyfriend Matt Prokop, and her senior prom experience!
On fashion: “I think fashion is a way of expressing yourself and who you are. I’ve always expressed myself through my style, from when I was a child playing dress up to now. I don’t think you ever make fashion mistakes because if you like it at that time, then it wasn’t a mistake.”
On the Marchesa gown she wore at the 2012 Emmys, which she collaborated on with designer Georgina Chapman: “I think it’s cool to be recognized, especially since I co-designed it. But I don’t think people’s opinions should matter too much.”
On her boyfriend Matt: “His opinion means a lot to me. If he says he likes it, then I’m like, ‘Okay this is good.’”
Be sure to pick up TeenPROM’s 2013 issue which hits newsstands December 25th!

The 22-year-old actress chatted about starring on Modern Family, her sense of humor and Mila Kunis. Check it:
On fitting in in grade school: “The only horror story I have is when Annie, on which I played Molly, aired on ABC, all the kids in my elementary school thought I was super rich and chased me around the playground asking me for money. Other than that, everyone thought it was cool. In middle school and high school, I went to a performing arts school, so it wasn’t a big deal.”
On Modern Family: “An actor always hopes, but it was definitely a spectacular surprise [when the show succeeded].”
On her industry influences: “Shows like Friends, Will and Grace, and The Amanda Show, I watched all of them growing up. I never thought I was funny, but I guess my comedic timing comes from that.”
On constantly being compared to Mila Kunis: “Never. I think it’s the most flattering compliment I’ll ever get. One, she’s a wonderful person and very nice. And two, she’s smokin’.”
