Sawyer Sweeten's Death: 'Everybody Loves Raymond' Cast Releases Statements

We are still so shocked by the news of Sawyer Sweeten‘s death at age 19 and now the cast of Everybody Loves Raymond is speaking out to pay their sympathies.

The actor’s older sister Madylin, who was also on the show, confirmed to Us Weekly that he committed suicide.

“This morning a terrible family tragedy has occurred,” she said. “We are devastated to report that our beloved brother, son, and friend, Sawyer Sweeten, took his own life. He was weeks away from his 20th birthday. At this sensitive time, our family requests privacy and we beg of you to reach out to the ones you love.”

Here is what Ray Romano had to say: “I’m shocked, and terribly saddened, by the news about Sawyer. He was a wonderful and sweet kid to be around. Just a great energy whenever he was there. My heart breaks for him, his family, and his friends during this very difficult time.”

Everybody Loves Raymond's Sawyer Sweeten Dies at 19

Sawyer Sullivan has passed away at the age of 19.

According to Radar Online, the former Everybody Loves Raymond star, died of an apparent suicide while visiting family in Texas.

A source shared, “Sawyer was visiting family in Texas. He went on the front porch and killed himself with a gunshot to his head.”

Sawyer and his twin brother Sullivan starred as twins Jeffrey and Michael Barone, respectively, alongside their real-life sister, Madylin, who played Ally Barone.
