It was just announced (via Deadline) that Scott, 29, has booked a starring role in ABC drama pilot, Boom.
Written by Josh Pate and Rodes Fishburne and produced by ABC Studios, Boom examines the biggest oil discovery in American history – bigger than Texas and as big as Saudi Arabia – which has triggered a geopolitical shift and an economic boom in North Dakota on a scale not seen since the 1849 California Gold Rush.
Meanwhile, Matt will star alongside Bebe Wood in Family Of The Year. The single-camera project is about a picture perfect family, the O’Neals, that is turned upside down when the youngest son Danny comes out of the closet.
He’ll play Jimmy O’Neal, Danny’s older brother, a two-time all-state wrestling champion, while Bebe is Shannon, the little sister, a real do-gooder who’s always working on some new charity.
In the new episode, “Cancer Friends With Benefits”, While April and Leo try chart new relationship waters, April and Dominic (Richard Brancatisano) spend an incredibly awkward night together covering the same event for the newspaper, and it’s clear that the pain of their breakup is still very fresh.
With Dominic’s heart on his sleeve and not knowing where she stands with Leo, will April be more confused than ever on what to do about either guy?
“Cancer Friends With Benefits” airs NEXT Monday, February 2nd @9PM ET/PT on ABC Family.
