Selena Gomez goes short and blunt with her hair in this stunning new feature for Flaunt magazine.
The 21-year-old actress/singer took a break in between tour stops for the feature which brushes on the future, and what ifs.
“That’s not feminism,” she shared about Lorde‘s comments on her song, “Come & Get It”.
Selena continued, “[Lorde is] not supporting other women. That’s my honest opinion, that’s what I would say to her if I saw her. I actually covered her song in all of my shows that I’ve done so far. I’m not sure if I’m going to continue that.”
Selena is also pictured below, receiving a 16x Platinum Plaque to Commemorate digital sales & streams of more then 16,000,000 units of her singles, “Naturally,” “Round & Round,” “A Year Without Rain,” “Who Says,” “Love You Like A Love Song,” “Hit The Lights,” and “Come & Get It.”
The 21-year-old actress/singer just received the Chris Greicius Celebrity Award from Make-A-Wish.
During her recent tour stop in Phoenix, staff from the non-profit’s headquarters met Selena backstage at the US Airways Center to personally present her with the award and thank her for her unwavering support for granting wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions.
The award is given to celebrities for outstanding dedication to wish granting.
“A wish-come-true helps wish kids feel better and in some cases get better,” David A. Williams, Make-A-Wish America president and chief executive officer shared. “Celebrities, like Selena, can make a very real, lasting impact on wish kids’ ability to handle and overcome the medical challenges they face.”
The 21-year-old singer/actress opened up about BFF Taylor Swift, junk food and believing in love. Check it:
On being a hopeless romantic: “You fall in love and it completely consumes you. So a part of you is broken when that’s gone. And part of you wants to have that rebellious feeling where you’re just like, forget it—I can do anything I want. I’ve tried it, and I’ve never been that girl. I’m always going to be the girl you want to take home to your parents, not for the night.”
On Taylor: “The difference between Taylor and me is she was sixteen with the confidence of a 25-year-old. Actually, I should say 80-year-old, because she’s such an old soul. I was not that way. I was very sheltered until about eighteen or nineteen. I still live at home, and I’m 21! She does inspire me like crazy, but I wouldn’t change my path, because it allowed me to figure out all that stuff and do it on my own.”
On loving snack foods: “I eat junk. I’m from the South, so I love Mexican food, greasy pasta, and fried things. I do try, every now and then, to put something in my body that will be good, but, honestly, I’ve never liked working out. I need to be active in some way, though—that’s why I kind of secretly do it for my show. We have thirteen choreographed pieces, and it’s a 90-minute set. I consider that my workout!”
The day before, Selena showed off her toned bikini bod while lounging around poolside in Miami.
Meanwhile, Austin recently announced his rescheduled tour dates after cancelling his Artist to Watch tour due to his hospitalization for a high temperature, blood clot, and extreme inflammation in his throat.
