Dove Cameron is opening up about when she first started out on the Disney Channel.
Earlier this month at a Jingle Ball stop, the soon-to-be 27-year-old “Girl Like Me” singer revealed some advice she got from another Disney alum – Selena Gomez!
The actress and singer shared that then network president Gary Marsh insisted she go meet the Wizards of Waverly Place star and talk about how her life is going to change, after being cast on Liv and Maddie.

Selena Gomez always pulls off chic outfits and we’re loving this one that she wore at the latest screening to promote her Apple TV+ documentary.
The 30-year-old entertainer attended a private screening of My Mind and Me, hosted by the Rare Impact Fund, on Wednesday night (December 14) at Soho House in New York City.
Selena was joined by Rare Beauty’s VP of Social Impact & Inclusion, Elyse Cohen, for a Q&A after the screening.

The actress/singer and the songwriter performed their new song “Applause” during the event.
Also out for the evening were Selena Gomez, Zoey Deutch and Marvel stars Iman Vellani and Simu Liu.

Selena Gomez wears a black dress while stepping out for Variety’s Hitmakers Brunch held at City Market Social House on Satruday (December 3) in Los Angeles.
The 30-year-old entertainer was one of the honorees at the event, for Film Song of the Year for “My Mind & Me.”
Also in attendance were Dua Lipa (Hitmaker of the Year), Omar Apollo (TikTok Future Icon Award), Kim Petras )Innovator of the Year) and Imagine Dragons (Group of the Year), who were honored as well, plus presenters H.E.R. and Jack Harlow, and Justin Tranter.
On the carpet, Selena dished on the new music she’s been working on.
“I am so happy, and you’re going to be so happy when you hear the music, I promise,” she told Variety‘s Marc Malkin. “I want everyone to feel good when they hear the new record.”
She also described it as powerful, empowering and really happy.
