The 24-year-old Let It Snow actor, musician, and dancer opened up about Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, shooting two projects at once, and more.
On being an actor first before a musician: “I thought I was going to be a musician first. But now that I’m here and I’m able to do this, I have these eyes open. My evolution has been humbling.”
On Spider-Man: “It was a blessing to be a part of that. I’ve always wanted to be a black Spider-Man, but it was animated so the challenge was to do the best that I can vocally, to bring this character Miles Morales to life.”
On shooting Wu-Tang: An American Saga and Let It Snow at the same time: “These two projects, Wu-Tang and Let It Snow, were offers and blessings from God. I’m being blessed and I’m taking advantage of these opportunities. The producers worked it out for me to be able to shoot both at the same time, so I was doing both characters at the exact same time.”
