Shane Dawson is the another YouTuber facing backlash following an old podcast episode that was just released, where he was heard joking about a “sexy little kid.”
The episode from Shane and Friends was posted on a YouTube Channel that titled the video, “I think Shane Dawson is a pedophile. Here’s my proof,” before it was removed.
After the video was removed, fans have shared quotes from the episode on Twitter and Shane is under fire for them.
Shane did apologize in a new video and actually posted the clip in questions, saying, “I wanted to play that clip in full�that moment especially in full�just for context because that seems to be missing nowadays. I can’t believe I’m having this make this video.”
He adds, going on “record saying I am not a f***ing pedophile. Got it? Great. There’s my statement.”
Shane also apologized for the jokes he made during the old podcast, too: “I loved the feeling of making somebody shocked and laugh because they couldn’t believe what was coming out of my mouth, I wasn’t confident enough to make smarter jokes.”
“The jokes are old and were out of context. I’ve been molested in my childhood. I dealt with it by making jokes. And I’ve grown up and stopped doing that. People just don’t want to let me move on. This whole experience was insane and awful and I don’t wish it on anyone.”
I grew up. I changed my content. I apologized countless times for my shitty offensive jokes. instead of dragging me down people should use me as an example of a creator who can CHANGE and better themselves and their content. i’m so proud of who i am today.

The 23-year-old actress sat down with YouTuber Shane Dawson to debunk some theories on Riverdale.
The two talked about having to do media training before the show came out, whether Cheryl and her brother were more than just siblings, the show posters looking similar to other movie posters, the black hood and more!
“We had to do media training. Which was intensive.. This is so weird,” Madelaine said. “We had to learn how to get out of a car without flashing. So there’s a very specific way where you cover yourself with the door of the car and you get out with the opposite leg.”

In a playful response to social star and author Shane Dawson‘s new video in support of his own book, “It Get’s Worse”, Tyler rephrased Taylor‘s response. Here’s what he wrote:
“Where is the video of Shane telling me he was going to say he gets more views than me in his short film? It doesn’t exist because it never happened. You don’t get to control someone’s emotional response to having less views than Shane Dawson in front of the entire world. Of course, I wanted to like ‘It Gets Worse’. I want to believe Shen when he told me but I would love the video. I wanted us to have a friendly relationship. He promised to play the video for me, but he never did. While I wanted to be supportive of Shane on the phone call you cannot ‘approve’ a video you haven’t seen. Being falsely painted as a has-been when I was never give the full story or played any party of the video is character assassination. I would very much like to be excluded from this narrative, one that I have never asked to be a part of, since 2007.”
YouTube celebrity Shane Dawson is bravely opening up about his sexual identity in a new video he shared with his 6.7 million followers.
“I am bisexual,” the 26-year-old internet personality says in the clip. “I have said it out loud once before, in therapy. I have never really talked about it until now, publicly. The reason I’m talking about it is because there’s a lot of coming out videos of people that are gay or lesbian, and they’re so confident and they’re like, you know, ‘I’ve known since I was 5,’ ‘I’ve always been gay’… I’m not that. I don’t know who I am 100 percent.”
