The 3rd annual Rock the Red Kettle Concert raised awareness for The Salvation Army’s 122nd annual Red Kettle Campaign, the oldest annual charitable fundraiser of its kind in the United States. In 2011, the campaign collected a record $147.6 million nationwide, and helped The Salvation Army serve 30 million people in communities where the money was raised.

Shane Harper takes the stage at the 2012 Magnificent Mile Lights Festival on Saturday afternoon (November 17) in Chicago, Ill.
The 19-year-old Good Luck Charlie star performed a selection of his songs on the Radio Disney stage including “Rocketship” and “Just Friends.” Disney XD star Olivia Holtopened the show!
Later that night, Shane took a ride and performed again on The Best Western Float in the Chicago Magnificent Mile Parade.
