Shawn Mendes Reveals His Favorite Songs From His New Album

Asking an artist to pick their favorite song off their albums is like trying to choose a favorite kid, but Shawn Mendes did it.

During a fan Q&A on social media, the 19-year-old musician revealed that he has two faves off his new self-titled album.

“This is almost impossible to answer,” Shawn wrote in reply to the question. “But if i had to choose it’d be a fight between ‘In My Blood’ & ‘Where were you in the morning’.”

“In My Blood” was actually one of the first songs he released from the album, and told fans that “it’s conceptually the song closest to my heart and it’s the most vulnerable and I just wanted to release something that really meant something to me as my first song.”
