Johnny Orlando just released a Snapchat lens that lets fans live his latest music video!
The 16-year-old singer dropped the video for his fan favorite song, “Waste My Time,” on Saturday (June 1) and, in honor of the surreal video, he’s also launched a global Snapchat lens that mirrors the style of the video.
The “Waste My Time” video plays with the concept of time, including freezing and stopping it, and the Snapchat lens lets fans step into that world – digitally, at least.
“Playing ‘Waste My Time’ live during the Teenage Fever tour has been amazing. It is the song fans seem to love most from the EP and the energy in the room when we start to play it is wild,” Johnny said. “We wanted to create a video complemented by a Snapchat lens that gives everyone a chance to play with the feeling we tried to create when writing the song – when being with someone makes time feel like it has completely stopped.”
You can download the Snapchat lens here.

Snapchat is getting ready to launch a hilarious new series with James Corden!
The 38-year-old host of The Late Late Show just revealed that he’s teaming up with the app to launch a new show called Next James Corden on their Discover platform.
The fictional reality competition will follow James as he searches for a young up-and-comer to be his Late Late Show successor.
Although James isn’t ready to leave late night just yet, he wants copious time to find and groom a worthy candidate.
Next James Corden is set to debut on Snapchat this fall.
Have you ever missed a Snapchat because it disappeared too quickly?
Snapchat is now changing the way you view Snaps by introducing an “infinity” time limit!
Users can set a timer so that friends can view your photos for as long as they’d like.
But the Snaps still disappear once the viewer exits out of the Snap!
In addition to the new timer feature, Snapchat also announced a Magic Eraser, which will allow users to remove unwanted objects from images, and the ability to draw with emojis.
Finally, the company also revealed a new Loop tool for videos so users can decide if a Snap plays once or loops until your friend is ready to tap to the next Snap.
We’ll have to do without Grace Vanderwaal on Snapchat for a few days.
The reigning America’s Got Talent singer just got her account deleted because she’s not 13 quite yet.
“Guys I didn’t delete my snapchat, snapchat deleted it because I’m under 13,” Grace explained to everyone of her fans on Instagram.
She addes, “Even though I told them that I’m turning 13 in just a few days they still deleted it. I’ll make a new one after January 15th (my 13th birthday).”
We’re glad she’ll be coming back though. In the meantime, follow Grace on IG and Twitter!
Snapchat just revealed new features that tons of users have been waiting for!
After mixed reviews about Auto Advance Stories, which forced users to watch Stories back-to-back, the company is dropping the feature.
Instead, users can now individually choose which Stories to watch and even use the new Rewind feature to easily re-watch stories! Users simply tap the left side of a Snapchat story to rewind, similar to the same feature on Instagram Stories.
The company also introduced Story Playlist, which gives users an easy way to select the Stories they want to watch and then view them in the order they selected.
Finally, Snapchat unveiled World Lenses, which applies filters to the outside world, instead of just the face filters available for the front-facing camera!
