Sofia Black-D’Elia has been cast in the upcoming historical film Ben-Hur!
According to Deadline, the 23-year-old actress will act opposite Jack Huston, Morgan Freeman, and Toby Kebbell in the historical epic, which “chronicles the blood feud between Judah Ben-Hur (Huston) and Messala that erupts when Messala (Kebbell) condemns his childhood friend to slavery and certain death aboard a Roman warship.”
Sofia will play Tirzah, “Judah’s sister who becomes quietly political when the Roman Empire takes control of Jerusalem. She is imprisoned alongside her mother and both contract leprosy before Judah returns home to free his family and avenge them all.”
We can’t wait to see it!

Along with Dean and Jonny, the 22-year-old actress is promoting their upcoming movie, Project Almanac, during the Paramount Studios presentation.

Joel Courtney and Sofia Black-D’Elia are headed back to television.
According to Deadline, the two actors will star in the CW’s upcoming series, The Messengers, which starts with a mysterious object crashing down to earth. A group of seemingly unconnected strangers die from the energy pulse, but then awaken to learn that they have been deemed responsible for preventing the impending Apocalypse.
Sofia will play Erin, who despite the stresses in her life, is eager to make a new life for herself and her young daughter, Amy far away from her hot-headed ex-husband, and Joel will play Peter, a loner who was raised in a group home and is bullied constantly.

In “It’s Really Complicated,” Serena (Blake Lively) and Dan (Penn Badgley) host a Thanksgiving dinner for their friends.
Meanwhile, Blair (Meester) tries to help a dispirited Chuck (Ed Westwick), who feels unsuccessful in the war against his father.
Also, Dan is hesitant to publish his latest article, fearing it will ruin a friendship.
