Sophie McShera: 'Downton Abbey' TCA Panel

Sophie McShera goes floral for the Downton Abbey panel at the PBS portion of the 2013 Summer Television Critics Association Tour held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Tuesday afternoon (August 6) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 27-year-old actress joined her cast mates, chatting up the upcoming season four of the hit show.

“She’s grown up…She’s had such a journey and even done her terrible teens…which she’s still in, a bit,” Sophie shared about her character Daisy.

She added, “She’s being a bit of a jealous girl with Ivy and everything. She’s had an amazing journey. I’ve really loved it. I like that we get such a long time because you can grow up on screen, which is always exciting.”

Later in the night, Sophie stepped out for the Season 4 photo call.

Sophie McShera Joins the Cast of 'Cinderella'

Sophie McShera is headed to the big screen in the upcoming live adaptation of Cinderella!

According to Deadline, the 27-year-old British actress will play the evil stepsister Noemi.

Sophie joins her Downton Abbey costar Lily James, who will play the title role. The film also stars Holliday Granger, Cate Blanchett, and Richard Madden.

Sophie will start filming in September and Cinderella is set to hit theaters on March 13, 2015!

Holliday Grainger and Sophie McShera are in talks to join Disney’s upcoming adaption of Cinderella!

The Wrap and THR report that the 25-year-old and 27-year-old actresses will star as Cinderella’s (Lily James) step sisters, Drisella and Anastasia, in the movie.

The movie will be directed by Sir Kenneth Branagh and also stars Cate Blanchett as the wicked stepmother and Richard Madden as the Prince.

Holliday currently stars as Lucrezia Borgia on Showtime’s The Borgias and can next be seen in Lifetime and History Channel’s Bonnie and Clyde: Dead and Alive. Sophie can be seen on Downton Abbey as Daisy Mason.
