Spencer Boldman makes a quick run to a local shop to pick up some goodies for lunch in Los Angeles on Monday afternoon (September 14).
It was just announced that the 24-year-old former Lab Rats actor has joined the upcoming Cruise flick, opposite Emily Ratajkowski.
The film, from writer-director Robert Siegel, is set during summer 1987 and centers on Gio Marchetti (Boldman), a working-class Italian-American who has little on his mind but racing cars and chasing girls.
That is, until he meets Jessica Weintraub (Ratajkowski), a nice Jewish girl from Long Island who goes to Gio’s neighborhood for some illicit thrills on the wrong side of the tracks.
But that’s okay, because we know the 24-year-old actor will be back on our screens before we know it in something different.
“While ‘LR: Bionic Island’ is my final season, I’m so pumped for the fans, who’ve made our show what it has been, to have something else to look forward to. We have the hardest working cast, crew, writers and ep’s and they will give you another awesome show,” he wrote on Twitter to fans.
Spencer added, “So grateful for these last four years for the cast/crew, Disney and most importantly you all. Excited for what’s to come, thanks always for the love!”
The most interesting ones? Spencer painted all white with black war paint on his chest and face.
Want to know the meanings? White is the color of peace and by wearing the hand symbol in black on his chest, this represent success in hand to hand combat. It also symbolizes human life and the sign was believed to channel energy to the wearer.
In “Bionic Action Hero”, Douglas (Jeremy Kent Jackson) reveals that a former colleague (Jessalyn Wanlim) is a movie director and wants to make a movie based on Adam (Spencer Boldman), Bree (Kelli Berglund) and Chase (Billy Unger).
However, when she shows up to the academy with her actor Troy West (Howard) for research, her evil agenda begins to unfold.
“Bionic Action Hero” airs TONIGHT, Wednesday, August 5th @8:30 PM ET/PT on Disney XD.
In “Lab Rats vs. Mighty Med”, when Chase (Billy Unger) and Davenport (Hal Sparks) create a groundbreaking energy source with a new piece of technology, the Incapacitator from “Mighty Med” tricks Chase into thinking he’s a potential buyer and takes off with the device.
