The 23-year-old musician looks like he’s having a blast singing the David Guetta track in the video.
“This song is such a fun unique mix of different musical influences,” Spencer told JJJ. “In fact, I have drawn inspiration for my own sound from Island music. So, I decided to cover this song kind of in the moment. I heard it and just decided to film it at my friends house when we were having fun and hanging out.”
Just the day before, the 22-year-old musician dropped his new single from the EP called “Nothing Can Hurt Me” — and he’s on the look out for amazing covers of it!
“So u have probably heard I want to include some of my awesome fans in my upcoming music video for my new single ‘Nothing Can Hurt Me’…” Spencer wrote on Twitter. “Record ur best cover or lip sync of my new single “Nothing Can Hurt Me” & don’t forget hashtags #NothingCanHurtMe and #SpencerSutherland!”
He added, “Send ur cover videos in asap! The deadline is January 19th to submit videos. Here’s me showing u how u do it :) http://bit.ly/1wxncDB.”

“I can’t say very much yet, but it’s about all of these people who work at a theme park called ‘Happyland,’” Kat told Bellus Magazine. “And so everything seems fine and perfect on the surface, but behind-the-scenes, it’s just utter chaos. There’s a really soapy dramatic plot with love triangles, and twists and turns, all sorts of crazy stuff. But it also has really smart comedy sort of in the same style as Awkward. It’s a really cool show and I’m excited for people to see it.”
