The stars of Spider-Man: Homecoming are getting ready for the big premiere in New York City right now, but first they stepped out for an interview at the Build Series!
Tom Holland, Laura Harrier, and Jacob Batalon, along with director Jon Watts, made an appearance together on Monday afternoon (June 26) in the Big Apple.
Laura is playing the role of Liz in the reboot of the Marvel character’s films and she is rumored to be Peter Parker’s new love interest.

Tom Holland Debuts First Official Spider-Man: Homecoming Trailer
We are gushing with excitement over the fact that we’ve finally seen a glimpse of Zendaya in character in the upcoming movie Spider-Man: Homecoming, but one thing we still don’t know is who exactly she is playing!
There has been a ton of secrecy surrounding her character and people have been speculating that she is either playing Mary Jane Watson or Michele Gonzales, two important roles in the comic book franchise.
In the just released official trailer for the film, Zendaya is seen interacting with Peter Parker (Tom Holland) and his friend Ned Leeds (Jacob Batalon) at the lunch table at school. She makes fun of them and calls them “losers” for ogling the character Liz Allan (Laura Harrier).
Back in August, TheWrap cited two sources close to the production of the film that Zendaya is set to play Mary Jane Watson. The role is definitely the most well-known of Peter Parker’s love interests and the character was played by Kirsten Dunst in the original trilogy.
We get our first glimpse of Zendaya‘s character in Spider-Man: Homecoming in the movie’s first official trailer and she’s using her comedic skills to make fun of Peter Parker (Tom Holland).
While it was rumored that Z was going to be the love interest in the movie, it seems like Laura Harrier, who plays Liz Allan, is going to be the object of Peter’s affection in the film.
Another character that we’re introduced to in the film is Ned Leeds, Peter’s best friend played by Jacob Batalon.
The upcoming Marvel movie follows Peter Parker on his journey as Spider-Man and also features Zendaya as a character named Michelle and Michael Keaton as the villain.
