The rebels are back in action in this new pic from the upcoming season of Star Wars Rebels!
As the new season of Star Wars Rebels opens, the crew of the Ghost is now considered a very real threat to the Empire and has caught the attention of Darth Vader himself. Undeterred, the rebels seek out old friends and add powerful allies to their cause, forming the beginnings of a more formidable alliance against the Empire.
To stop them, Vader will dispatch new agents to hunt down their growing coalition, determined to snuff them out before they can ignite a galaxy to rebellion.
Star Wars Rebels returns with new episodes this fall on Disney XD.
Plus, fans attending 2015 New York Comic Con this upcoming October will get an exclusive sneak peek the new season with a panel and preview screening of two new episodes!

In the one-hour movie event, “The Seige of Lothal” centers on the Rebels, who after an absence while fighting with the rebel fleet, return to Lothal to save a defecting Imperial officer, only to draw the attention of the Empire’s most dreaded agent – Darth Vader.
And that’s not all — actor James Earl Jones, who voiced the iconic character in the original movies, is returning as the voice of Darth Vader!
Star Wars Rebels returns on Saturday, June 20th @ 9PM ET/PT on Disney XD.

During the Star Wars Celebration event over the weekend, fans were treated to an exclusive sneak peek at the second season with creators Dave Filoni and Simon Kinberg, as well as cast members Freddie Prinze, Jr., Vanessa Marshall, Tiya Sircar, Steve Blum, and Taylor Gray.
The upcoming season revealed that Vader will indeed be back, and “Clone Wars” fan-favorites Captain Rex, Wolffe and Gregor, all voiced by Dee Bradley Baker, will be joining the show.
