AnnaSophia Robb pulls on-screen sister Stefania Owen into a hug for warmth while filming The Carrie Diaries in New York City on Tuesday afternoon (January 22).
The two girls kept warm in between scenes where Stefania‘s character, Dorritt, interrupts AnnaSophia and Austin Butler while they are kissing.

AnnaSophia Robb is all smiles on stage during the The Carrie Diaries panel at the 2013 Winter Television Critics Association Press Tour held at the Langham Huntington Hotel on Sunday morning (January 13) in Pasadena, Calif.
The 19-year-old actress was joined by her co-stars Austin Butler, Stefania Owen, Chloe Bridges, Ellen Wong and Katie Findlay, as well as executive producers Josh Schwartz and Amy B. Harris, plus author Candice Bushnell.
While talking about adapting the book to television, Ms. Bushnell shared, “Books and TV series are apples and oranges. A book has a beginning, middle and end. TV series, ideally, you want to go on and on,” which “shapes a lot of decisions.”
The Carrie Diaries premieres TOMORROW on the CW. Be sure to watch @ 8PM ET/PT!

The show’s official summary: It’s 1984, and life isn’t easy for 16-year-old Carrie Bradshaw (Robb). Since their mother passed away, Carrie’s younger sister Dorritt (Stefania Owen) is more rebellious than ever, and their father Tom (Matt Letscher) is overwhelmed with the responsibility of suddenly having to care for two teenage girls on his own. Carrie’s friends � sweet, geeky Mouse, snarky Maggie (Katie Findlay) and sensitive Walt (Brendan Dooling) � make life bearable, but a suburban life in Connecticut isn’t doing much to take her mind off her troubles.
Even the arrival of a sexy new transfer student named Sebastian (Butler) only reminds Carrie that she spent the whole summer grieving rather than moving on with life. So when Tom offers Carrie the chance to intern at a law firm in Manhattan, she leaps at the chance.
Carrie’s eyes are opened wide at the glamour and grit of New York City � and when she meets Larissa (Freema Agyeman), the style editor for Interview magazine, she’s inspired by the club culture and unique individuals that make up Larissa’s world. Carrie’s friends and family may have a big place in her heart, but she’s fallen in love for the first time with the most important man in her life � Manhattan.

Ellen Wong cuddles into co-star Brendan Dooling at the premiere of The Carrie Diaries during the 2012 New York Television Film Festival held at SVA Theater on Monday night (October 22) in New York City.
The twosome were joined by Stefania Owen for the opening of the festival.
A prequel to the successful Sex and the City franchise, the upcoming CW show follows Carrie (AnnaSophia Robb) as she navigates her senior year of high school in the early 1980s.
Asking her first questions about love, sex, friendship and family in Manhattan, the show will debut on the network in January.

The two on-screen sisters ran away from on-screen dad Matt Letscher as he squirted them with a water hose.
