It was recently announced that Stefanie is the new ambassador for Cookies for Kids’ Cancer, which encourages teens to make a difference in the fight against pediatric cancer by hosting bake sales.

Stefanie Scott is Cookies for Kids’ Cancer‘s new ambassador!

The 16-year-old actress has teamed up with the organization, encouraging kids and teens to make a difference in the fight against pediatric cancer by hosting bake sales and other local events. The mission: to urge all students to join the cause and advance pediatric cancer research.

“When I learned that 46 children are diagnosed with cancer every day and that Cookies for Kids’ Cancer is making a difference in the fight against pediatric cancer, I knew I had to get involved,” Stefanie shared in a statement. “Ive always loved to bake — especially for my brother, and when Cookies for Kids’ Cancer told me I can help kids fighting cancer by doing something as easy as hosting a bake sale, I was inspired to personally make a difference.”

She continued, “I’d like to encourage every kid, school and social group to join me in becoming a Good Cookie and host an event.”

Quvenzhané Wallis snaps a pic with the cast of A.N.T. Farm during a set visit in Los Angeles late last week.

The nine-year-old Oscar nominee and Beasts of the Southern Wild actress chatted it up with stars China Anne McClain, Sierra McCormick, Stefanie Scott, Jake Short and Aedin Mincks.

“Last night was so much fun. Visited the set of ANT Farms. Thanks China, Jake, Sierra, and the ANT Farm cast,” Quvenzhane tweeted after her visit.

The A.N.T. Farm actress – who turns 16 TODAY — enjoyed Cars Land, a ride on the famous tea cups and more. Stef was joined by friends Peyton List, Kathryn Newton, Kaitlyn Dever, Keely Marshall and Sammi Hanratty.

“I had a really wonderful day. :) time to make a wish!” Stefanie tweeted at the end of the day, with a cute pic of her birthday cake. Yum!
