Grant Gustin and Tom Cavanaugh fight as the Flash and the Reverse-Flash in these brand new on set photos from The Flash from over the weekend in Vancouver, Canada.
Also seen on set was Arrow‘s Stephen Amell, who was filming for the crossover episode.
Mark Hamill is set to reprise his 1990s role of James Jesse, the Trickster from the original The Flash series in an upcoming episode of the CW’s series!
Mark admitted he was nervous to take on the role after so many years at first, but said, “I was very skeptical but then I called Andrew and the one thing that impressed me about the show is how smart the writing is. I mean, it’s got the fantasy element and the comic book elements but it’s really strong in characters, I think. The backstory of the father wrongly accused, from the very first episode that’s really a strong hold on the audience. And you get to know so much about the personal lives of these characters. So I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised when they had such an ingenious idea as having Devon Graye play a new Trickster with me appealing to — all of these villains have unwieldy egos.”
According to Variety, the 33-year-old Arrow star has been cast as Casey Jones in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2.
Megan Fox and Will Arnett are both set to reprise their roles. And while plot details are being kept under wraps, Casey is “a loner who becomes an ally of the turtles and a love interest for [April (Fox)].
The first film of course followed a group of mutated turtle warriors who emerged from the shadows to protect their home after a kingpin threatened New York City.
“When you have these shared universes, sometimes it’s the coolest things ever and there’s an upcoming thing in a Flash episode that feels like a throwaway but it actually describes an event in the flashback story this season on Arrow,” showrunner Andrew Kreisbergrecently shared.
He added, “When we do stuff like that, hopefully the audience finds it fun, like all the particle accelerator and Channel 52 mentions last season on Arrow, and then sometimes it’s a real hindrance.”

Chatting about the subject of Felicity and Oliver, Emily opened up about how her character is really feeling about his return.
“”She’s like, ‘Hell no, I’m not going to deal with somebody who only gives half of their emotions.’ But she still cares for him deeply,” she shared, adding, “she needs the time to go and explore her options. She needs that nourishment and support of love.”
Stephen chimed in, “If there’s…a moment where Oliver finally decides to ‘let go’ and get into the land of the living, the object of his affection would most likely be Felicity — but she’s spoken for.”
