Steven R. McQueen and Michael Trevino show off men’s fall fashion in this new feature for Zooey magazine.
The two Vampire Diaries hunks chatted with the glossy about the show and what’s coming up for both of their characters in the new season. Check it:
Michael on Tyler: “There have been so many transitions with Tyler. In season one he was basically just this one-note douchebag, alpha-male, football jock. In season two, he’s cursed and becomes a werewolf, and when we finished off in season three, he was the first successful hybrid created by Klaus. Our cliffhanger in season three was Tyler becoming Klaus after Klaus is taking over Tyler’s body. We’re going to see that play out in the beginning of season four.
Steven on Jeremy: “His main objective was always to keep his family safe. He fails to do so, and Elena (Nina Dobrev) dies. I think now his main objective has changed to becoming stronger and controlling his destiny. He’s the guy in the ring that gets knocked around but keeps getting back up. We see him start to callous and become stronger.”
Michael on season four: “[I'm excited] to see how long I’m going to be playing Klaus. And When Tyler is his own self again, I wonder how that’s going to play out with Caroline and affect the whole love triangle between she, Klaus and Tyler. We left it on a weird note and Caroline’s in the dark about it. I want to see how she reacts to what’s happening. [The best part is] kissing Caroline (played by Candice Accola), without a doubt.”
Steven on Jeremy’s relationship with Bonnie: “Jeremy hooked up with Anna, who was a ghost, and that caused friction between them. I say necrophilia doesn’t count (laughs). I don’t know quite where they stand— that’s up to our very capable writers— but I’d love to see him get back with Bonnie (played by Kat Graham).”

In the article, each guy even dished about what they look for in a girlfriend.
Michael Trevino: “I’m not gonna lie, I’ve always had a thing for brunettes. If you’re a brunette and you have bangs, I’m in.”
Dylan O’Brien: “One time I stood outside of a girl’s house with a rose in my mouth—like, between my teeth. She just rolled her eyes and laughed.”

Nina Dobrev meets up with actor Andy Serkis inside Entertainment Weekly‘s Comic-Con Celebration sponsored by Just Dance 4 held at the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego on Saturday night (July 14) in San Diego, Calif.
Earlier in the day, the 23-year-old actress was joined by her cast mates Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, Zach Roerig, Michael Trevino, and Steven R. McQueen at The Vampire Diaries panel during the 2012 San Diego Comic Con.
The cast was also joined by the show’s executive producers Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson, who dished about the upcoming fourth season.
“[Elena's] going to need help from [Damon and Stefan], and I think the three of them are quite possibly going to learn a LOT about each other. It’s going to be an interesting process,” Ian said about the love triangle after Elena’s transformation (via EW).
FYI: Nina is wearing a Katherine Kidd jumper and Dolce&Gabbana heels at the panel and a Jenny Packham dress with booties and a clutch by Jimmy Choo at the party.

Nina Dobrev glimmers in gold as she arrives at The CW’s Upfront presentation held at New York City Center on Thursday (May 17) in NYC.
The 23-year-old actress’s Vampire Diaries co-stars – Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, and Steven R. McQueen – also hit the carpet for the event.
The series will be moving to a new time slot for 2012-13 fall season in October. Instead of 9PM on Thursdays, the show will air at 8PM before Kristin Kreuk‘s new show Beauty and the Beast.
FYI: Nina is wearing Dolce&Gabbana, Jamie Wolf earrings and a Jimmy Choo clutch. Steven is in Joseph Abboud.
