Steven R. McQueen is revealing some tidbits about what fans can expect for Vampire Diaries‘ new episodes!

“At the beginning of season 2, [my character Jeremy] starts from square one. When Bonnie is added into the equation, he goes into throwing his heart on the line,” the 22-year-old told TVGuide.com.

“I think Jeremy always has good intentions,” he added. “He’s gonna definitely keep getting involved in this crazy world and this whole new mystical world that’s been introduced to him.”

“I think he’s not going to step back from that now,” Steven shared.

Steven R. McQueen gives off his grandfather’s vibe in this new shot from Vanity Fair.

The 22-year-old actor laughed about the fact that they [his grandfather, Steve McQueen and him] share the same name. “Luckily, I’ve got a generation gap between me and him. But more than anything it’s a little fuel in the fire,” Steven said.

Steven also dished on how he really got into acting: “When we [my mom and stepdad/hockey player Luc Robitaille] were living in Detroit, I had a real lack of direction. I started watching movies all day long. I watched my grandfather’s projects with admiration and looked up to him, but at the end of the day you have to be true to what’s inside.”

He adds on the appeal of his character Jeremy on The Vampire Diaries, “[He] was as messed up as possible in the head.”

Chelsea Staub turns up the volume as pal Steven R. McQueen models off a pair of V-moda headphones at the Kari Feinstein MTV Movie Awards Style Lounge held at Montage Beverly Hills on Thursday afternoon (June 3).

The former Minutemen costars browsed the Cesar, V-moda, Infinity Sun booths.

They also stopped by the Isagenix, which is a health supplement company who were serving up some shakes.

Later in the day, Chelsea and Steven checked out the first game of the NBA Finals. Chels tweeted, “Just got home from the Lakers game! (I know, I’m a hypocrite…but the Suns are out so I’m rooting for home team #2.)”

Alia Shawkat gets silly with Lucas Till in this cute shot from Teen Vogue‘s Young Hollywood 2009 featured in the October issue.

The 20-year-old upcoming actress dished to the mag on her upcoming roles in Whip It and The Runaways. Alia shared on breaking the hopes of press about how long she trained on skates for Whip It, saying, “People would ask how long I trained, and I had to say, ‘Oh, not at all.’ Breaking that news was a bummer.”

Alia will next star in The Runaways with Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning, where she did learn how to play bass.
