Jenna Ortega is sandwiched in between her co-stars Isaak Presley and Malachi Barton while attending the Disney Channel GO! Fan Fest on Saturday afternoon (May 12) at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif.
The Stuck in the Middle co-stars participated on a panel with the cast of Andi Mack and they also stuck around to meet all of the fans at the event!
Stuck in the Middle will be ending after its third season, which begins airing this summer. There are still 22 more episodes for fans to enjoy before the end.
“It means everything to me that the show focuses on showcasing that [representation],” the 18-year-old actress, who played Georgie, shared with NKD magazine recently.
Kayla adds, “There’s been a huge gap between Stuck in the Middle and the last Latino Disney family, which was on Wizards of Waverly Place. It makes me so happy that kids can watch my show and see people that look like them.”
“Growing up, whenever I’d watch TV, it was mostly kids with blonde hair and blue eyes onscreen but never anyone that looked like me,” she continues. “Representation is so important and I think Stuck in the Middle does a great job at including it.”
One of the most memorable moments for Kayla, personally, was Georgie’s Quinceanera.
“We often show[ed] traditional cooking and the family speaking in Spanish but my favorite was when we showed the cultural tradition of having a Quinceañera,” Kayla says. “It’s things like this that people have commented on and reacted so positively about.”
“3 years ago, an opportunity of a lifetime presented itself,” Isaak, who played Ethan, started out on Instagram. “Every kid’s dream of being on Disney had come true and I was given a family that will be my family forever.”
He continues, “Jenna, Kayla, Nick, Malachi, Ariana, Ronni, Joe, and Cerina. There were changes off screen and on screen over the years. Fights, pettiness, but always love. I learned how to be a better person through every single person on our cast and crew.”
“I am thankful to Disney for giving me the opportunity to portray Ethan Diaz, and giving me the opportunity to have such wonderful people in my life. Thank you to the fans of the show who have and will continue to support us, and I’m excited to see where the future takes myself and the rest of the cast. Happy Easter. Love you all.”

Jenna Ortega delivered a heartfelt speech to the Stuck in the Middle cast and crew after wrapping production on season three.
The actress shared the video on her Instagram on Friday (March 30), the same day Disney Channel announced that it would be the series’ last season.
“I’m just a girl from the Coachella Valley…wherever you’re from, shoot for the stars ✨ #stuckinthemiddle,” Jenna captioned the clip.
The comedy follows teenager Harley Diaz (Jenna) as she maneuvers her way through the bustle of being a middle child in a family with six other siblings.
The rest of the final season of Stuck in the Middle will begin airing this summer.
The series centered on Harley, the middle, inventor child of the family, so feels the need to come up with creative ways to stand out in her family’s crowded home.

Joshua Bassett has joined the Disney Channel show in a recurring role as Aiden, one of Harley’s new friends and neighbor Bethany’s nephew.
In the episode, called “Stuck with a Diaz Down”, with Rachel gone, there’s a void in the Diaz house that each sibling struggles to fill. To cap it all off, Bethany’s teenage nephew Aidan moves in next door and creates a whole new dynamic…especially for Harley.
“Everyone in the cast of Stuck in the Middle has been so welcoming and amazing to work with.,” Joshua tells JJJ. “I am so excited to get to share the character of Aidan with all the fans of the show!”
