MAX's Pregnant Wife Emily Stars In 'Blueberry Eyes' Music Video Featuring BTS' SUGA

MAX's Pregnant Wife Emily Stars In 'Blueberry Eyes' Music Video Featuring BTS' SUGA

MAX serenades his wife Emily in the just released music video for his song “Blueberry Eyes“!

The 28-year-old’s new song also features a verse by SUGA from BTS.

“So anyway, we hang out and he had never been to a basketball game so I brought him to his first basketball game ever in LA. It was the Kobe Bryant tribute game. Lebron [James] played live, so special,” MAX told Apple Music about his friendship with SUGA.

“And our musical relationship stemmed from a friendship and that he brought me to Korean barbecue and we just talked about music,” he continued. “He asked me to be on his project Agust D and I asked him to be on my album. So I sent him every song in the album and I just said, ‘Whichever one you’re feeling you can jump on.’ He loved ‘Blueberry Eyes’ and it’s amazing because his verse is so poetic and romantic and he slid his own story right into it. It’s really perfect.”

MAX also opened up about the video concept in the video’s YouTube description.

“Bringing this music video to life has been such a special experience. I wanted it to feel as if Disney magically made a baby with Wes Anderson in the world of Colour Vision with every bit of our souls intertwined,” he wrote.

Emily is my actual wife and she is really pregnant right now with our first child, so art imitates life in a fun way with this video,” MAX added. “We studied and memorized all of the Korean lyrics to Suga’s incredible and romantic verse and all of the blueberries in the bathtub ended up being reused to create limited edition blueberry dyed blueberry eyes shirts.”

“This video is a piece of our hearts and I hope it sparks the same magic in you viewing it as it did for us creating it,” MAX said. “Thank you to Suga for being so brilliant on this song and more importantly for being a wonderful friend. Much love.”

BTS' Suga Releases New Music Video 'Daechwita' From Solo Project Agust D - Watch Now!

Agust D has dropped his long awaited solo project D-2!

Rapper Min Yoongi, also known as SUGA from BTS, had fans talking all week about whether the release was coming, and it’s here.

Agust D not only dropped the 10 song album, but he also released the music video for “Daechwita”, the second song on the album.

“[D-2] is a documentation of myself as a 28-year-old. This is the output of my time in quarantine. In a way, it was a creative silver lining. It was a time during which I was able to learn, again, the meaning of the phrase ‘due to’,” he told Apple Music about the new album.

D-2 also features collabs with RM, NiiHWA, Kim Jong Wan, and the song “Burn It” with MAX!

MAX teased earlier this year that he would be working with a K-pop artist and many guessed that it would be SUGA.

BTS' SUGA Joins IU For New Song 'Eight' - Listen Now!

IU has released her new song “Eight“, featuring SUGA from BTS!

The new track not only features SUGA, he also produced it, but, he unfortunately doesn’t make an appearance in the accompanying music video.

“I’m not sure whether this is coming from my personal sentiment, the general atmosphere of the society that is struggling through hard times due to the disaster, or both,” IU said about the song.

“I feel like my 28 will be remembered as a repeated feeling of helplessness and lethargy and the longing for the ‘orange island’ where we were not sad and were able to feel free,” she added.

BTS Members Ring in Jimin's 24th Birthday - See Their Tweets!

Happy birthday, Jimin!

The BTS member turns 24 years old today (it’s October 13 in Korea), and his bandmates are joining the rest of the ARMY in celebrating his special day.

Jin tweeted a handwritten note (below), jokingly captioning it, “Jimin-ah, happy birthday, I wrote this for a period of three hours.” His handwritten note read simply, “Jimin, Happy Birthday! – Jin Hyung.”

Suga wrote (according to a fan translation), “Jimin-ah, I wish you a happy birthday I hope that this year, you eat lots and grow up and up.”

RM, Jungkook, J-Hope, and V also shared their birthday sentiments along with some never-before-seen pics. See them here: [1], [2], [3], [4], [5].

BTS also surprised Jimin by singing him “happy birthday” in Arabic during their recent tour stop in Riyadh, broadcasted live on VLIVE.

“The members started singing a song that I [didn’t] know, but I started kind of [lip-syncing] anyway just in case,” Jimin shared (according to a fan translator, via VLIVE). “The song sounded a bit familiar and I thought it was a New Year’s celebration song, but I thought wait, it’s a bit too early to celebrate new year’s… then I heard someone say ‘Jimin’ and I realized it was for my birthday.”

BTS Asks Young People to Share Love & Kindness, Not Violence (Video)

BTS Asks Young People to Share Love & Kindness, Not Violence (Video)

BTS is doing their part to help end to violence and bullying.

The popular South Korean group and UNICEF posted a video to celebrate UN International Day of Friendship.

The video features BTS singing their hit single “Answer: Love Myself” over fictional stories of young people encountering violence, bullying, and fear in and around schools, sending a message of friendship and support.

“Our LOVE MYSELF campaign is all about encouraging every young person to find the love from within themselves and spreading that love to others,” BTS said in a press release. “We want everyone to take part in ending violence by sharing love and kindness.”

BTS‘s LOVE MYSELF campaign has raised over $2 million to help UNICEF #ENDviolence.

UNICEF is urging young people leave a kind note for someone – in real life or online – and share it for others to see.

“Children and young people have told us time and again that being treated with kindness and respect helps them to feel safe in and around school,” UNICEF Executive Director Henrietta Fore said. “Every day students face a range of violent acts, from bullying and physical attacks to corporal punishment, sexual assault and harassment online. By being kind, children and young people can show their support for each other and brighten someone’s day. We’re grateful to BTS for their continued commitment to making sure that no child is afraid to go to school.”
