“[My favorite movie] is this Bollywood movie called Krrish and the star Hrithik Roshan is my favorite,” Sunny shared with People ahead of the big ceremony.
He added, “That’s a superhero movie so hopefully someday I will be able to play a superhero.”

The moment we saw Sunny Pawar on the big screen in Lion, we fell in love with him.
Now, with the film being up for Best Picture at the 2017 Academy Awards, we are praying and crossing every limb on our bodies that he’ll be at the big event on Sunday.
Sunny, complete with his green and yellow sneakers last night, got to attend to pre-Oscar parties last night — The Weinstein Company’s party and the Screen Australia and Australians in Film Oscar Nominees Reception.
In a recent interview, Sunny dished about he has become really close with his co-star Dev Patel.
“He’s not just a good friend…he’s become brother-like with me,” he shared. “I play a lot with him and during the time of filming, I used to play a lot with him and Nicole [Kidman]. And whenever he sees me, we still play.”
We LOVE this kid!
Sunny Pawar just got to visit The White House!
The young star of new film Lion brought along his father Dilip for the visit and meeting with President Barack Obama.
“It was a dream,” Sunny shared about the opportunity for the visit. He added about meeting the President, “He was so nice. He said ‘namaste’ and that he loved the movie Lion.”
Sunny met with President Obama while serving as ambassador for the #LionHeart campaign, which has raised over $100,000 since launching in November 2016.
#LionHeart is a social impact campaign launched by The Weinstein Company, See-Saw Films, and The Charity Network, working to provide financial support and resources to over 11 million children living on the streets of India today.
Lion, also starring Nicole Kidman and Dev Patel, is out in theaters right now — go see it!
