Emmy Rossum brings spring to Variety’s Power Of Women New York held at Cipriani 42nd Street on Friday afternoon (April 24) in New York City.
The 28-year-old actress was joined at the event by honorees Glenn Close, Lena Dunham, Whoopi Goldberg, Rachel Weisz, Kim Kardashian West, and Cobie Smulders.
Variety’s Power of Women: New York focuses on the extraordinary achievements and leadership of women in entertainment.
At the event, Mattel also honored a group of “Sheroes”, women and girls who have fought to not take no for an answer and have soared over obstacles and stereotypes in favor of believing that they can and will be anything!
The Barbie Sheroes were Lucky‘s EIC Eva Chen, Kristin Chenoweth, director Ava DuVernay, Sydney Keiser (Founder of Fashion by Mayhem), Emmy and country singer Tricia Yearwood.
