How adorable is this pic from the new episode of Sydney To The Max?!

In the episode, “Caved & Confused”, Sydney (Ruth Righi) enlists Grandma Judy (Caroline Rhea) to help her redesign the basement into their very own “girl cave”, where she hosts the coolest 50s-themed party with her friends to celebrate her new space.

JJJ spoke with Ruth and Ava Kolker, who plays Olive, ahead of tonight’s ep to see what their fave parts were – and it’s all about the girl cave!

“I absolutely LOVE everything in Sydney’s girl cave and if I could, I would take everything home with me,” Ruth gushed. “But one specific area that really caught my eye was the cute seating area by the record player. It is the perfect area to hang and listen to music with your friends.”

Ava loved the space too, saying that she loves “the selfie wall but what I loved the most, was the canopy with all the pillows inside.”

“In fact, I loved it so much that I included it in my own dressing room and that is my new hangout spot,” she added. “I am also obsessed with the selfie wall and I would love to have that in my bedroom at home for sure.”

Ruth and Ava also told us about the parties they want to throw one day.

“I have never thrown a themed party but if I could, I would throw a Hogwarts-themed where people could dress up in colors from their house and I would serve chocolate frogs and pumpkin spiced drinks and everyone would get their personalized wand,” Ruth says. We’d totally go to that!

Ava added, “I would love to throw a celebrity themed party. Everybody could dress up as their favorite celebrity and walk the ‘Red Carpet.’ I even want to hire fake paparazzi photographers and make the guests feel all glammed and loved.”

“We would try to guess who each person came in as, and it would be so much fun. That would definitely be the party I would throw!”

Sydney To The Max airs TONIGHT @ 8:30PM ET/PT on Disney Channel.

Meet The Full Cast of Disney Channel's 'Sydney To The Max'

Sydney to the Max premieres TONIGHT on Disney Channel!

The new series revolves around outgoing middle schooler Sydney Reynolds who lives with her protective yet doting single dad Max in the house where he grew up.

Along with her trendy and progressive grandmother Judy—three generations under one roof—the sitcom, set in the present day with flashbacks to the 1990s, demonstrates that tween milestones and the challenges of growing up never really change.

As Sydney’s preteen pursuits begin to expand with unexpected and funny twists, Max tries to get a better sense of the guidance, perspective and support she needs.

Grandma, armed with parental wisdom and wisecracks, has a razor-sharp memory that proves Max’s own teenage antics parallel Sydney’s.

Be sure to tune into the premiere @ 8:25PM ET/PT on Disney Channel and meet the cast inside!

The 13-year-old actress chatted with JJJ about her character, the close bond with her cast and more. Check it:

On connecting with her father through the throwbacks: “Sydney doesn’t literally see what viewers do but rather hears about what he experienced during his childhood. I think she’s pleasantly surprised when she finds moments where her and her dad connect on certain things that happen.

On Sydney’s close bond with Max and Judy: “Sydney and her dad, Max, are very close. They are always there for each other when they need it most and learn from each other’s mistakes. Sydney and her grandma Judy have a special bond where they’re always ready to have fun. Sometimes grandma Judy has to step in for ‘mother moments’ as well.”

On her character Sydney: “I love how outgoing she is and how she always lives life to the fullest.”

On the one episode she can’t wait for fans to see: “I’m really pumped for people to see ‘You’ve Got Female’ where you see Sydney take a stand for women’s rights and find her passion.”

Jackson Dollinger Dishes On How He Teamed Up With Ian Reed Kesler To Play Max on 'Sydney To The Max' (Exclusive)

You’re going to L-O-V-E Sydney To The Max‘s Jackson Dollinger!

The 12-year-old actor chatted with JustJaredJr.com about his new series, where he plays a young Max.

“We already look alike, so that was easy,” Jackson joked about how he and Ian Reed Kesler teamed up to play the character in two different times. “In terms of mannerisms, I basically studied Ian while he was doing his scenes.”

He adds, “At times, I have asked Ian how adult Max would deliver a line and then incorporated the delivery into my scene. Both adult and young Max definitely see themselves as cool. Ian is such a talented actor and his comedic timing is great. I am lucky to have such a great example to learn from.”

Jackson also spoke to us about how cool it would be to have a moment in the show where his young Max could meet his future daughter, Sydney.

“It would be such a blast to do an episode with Ruth and Ava,” he says. “They are so fun and talented and it would be awesome for all of us to work together in the same scenes on an episode.”

In the series, Jackson and his pal Leo, are always finding themselves in a lot of the same predicaments as Sydney does and there was one scene in particular that Jackson says was the weirdest.

“If I had to pick an awkward one, I think it would have to be the episode where Sydney wants to shave her legs and Young Max wants to shave his nonexistent beard,” he shared. “In the episode, Sydney looks to Olive to help her learn how to shave, since she feels weird asking her dad, and Max looks to Leo to help him learn how to shave because his dad is not around to help.”

“Since I don’t shave, it was definitely a little weird.”

Sydney To The Max premieres Friday, January 25th on Disney Channel.

Christian J. Simon Reveals The Funniest Moment To Happen on 'Sydney To The Max' Set So Far (Exclusive)

Christian J. Simon is one of the four young stars of Disney Channel’s Sydney To The Max who you’ll fall in love with.

The 11-year-old actor chatted with JustJaredJr.com ahead of the premiere and opened up about his repertoire with Jackson Dollinger, his character Leo, and more. Check it:

On Leo’s friendship with young Max: “Leo and Max are best friends. The funny part is they are total opposites, but it works for them! Leo likes to play it safe and Young Max is the rebel! Leo is constantly trying to keep Young Max from doing something that will get them both in trouble. At the end of the day, they always have each other’s back and they definitely know how to have a good time together!”

On his character Leo: “I love Leo’s dedication to whatever he is involved with. He gives everything his all. Whether it’s running the arcade, schemes he and Max come up with, or being the best student he can be, Leo remains dedicated to his causes.”

On the the funniest situation that Leo and Max find themselves in on the show: “Funniest? There’s way too many to name. If I had to pick one, it would probably be the time Leo and Max sneak to see a movie that his mom does not want them to see. It’s hilarious watching them try to ‘game plan,’ and the outcome of it all is the best! Totally busted.”

Ava Kolker Dishes How 'Girl Meets World' Prepared Her For New Series 'Sydney To The Max' (Exclusive)

Ava Kolker is about to premiere her brand new series, Sydney to the Max, on Disney Channel this week!

JJJ had the chance to chat with the 12-year-old actress about her new role as Olive in the show, and how playing Ava in Girl Meets World helped prepare her.

“What I like most about Olive is her fun, outgoing, loyal but quirky personality,” Ava tells us of Olive, the BFF to Ruth Righi‘s Sydney. “[They] always have each other’s back and are always there for one another to lean on or for a good laugh. They also sometimes get in a bit of trouble together.”

She adds that the fans will love the new show because of the “relationships and bonds between the characters and the hilarious comparisons between current day and the 90s.”

“They can also laugh with their parents as both generations will find a lot to relate to.”

Ava also opened up about how her recurring role in Girl Meets World, helped prepare her for Olive.

“It taught me how a show flows and the life of a Disney kid – meaning waking up at 5:30 am and having a full busy day of super fun work,” she shares. “But also, it taught me how to transform into another person completely and get creative to order to help build the different fun layers of that character.”

Sydney to the Max premieres on Friday, January 25th on Disney Channel. Stay tuned for more interviews!
