James Charles just posted a new video defending himself against the multiple allegations surrounding him in the media.

The 19-year-old makeup guru shared his “No More Lies” video on YouTube, where he gave a detailed response to former friend Tati Westbrook calling him out for his recent behavior.

Tati was originally hurt by James‘ decision to work with Sugar Bear Hair, a competitor of her brand Halo, but also detailed James actions in personal and romantic relationships.

While James first uploaded an apology video, he returned to the site to clarify many of the statements Tati made that he felt were inaccurate and directly shot down her claims that his Sugar Bear Hair sponsorship was pre-planned.

James shared many text messages with fellow influencers and the brand to prove that his deal was purely done in an emergency situation in order to get more security at Coachella.

Since the drama began, other YouTubers have spoken out and James has lost over two million subscribers.

The 30-year-old YouTuber took to Twitter to weigh in on the controversial feud on Monday (May 13).

In case you missed it, James has been in the center of a drama storm ever since his former friend and fellow YouTuber Tati Westbrook posted a video calling him out for bad behavior and formally cutting ties with him.

Shane, who has had collabs with both Tati and James, appears to have remained on Team Tati throughout the drama and its fallout.

“Feeling sad. Everything feels so dark right now,” Shane wrote on Twitter. “Even though I believe some people need to be humbled I also could never enjoy watching someone go through something like this. Today I wanna focus on the good stuff. I feel like I have tea poisoning from seeing all this drama. Send a nice text to a friend today. Give someone a hug. Tweet a link to ur favourite [sic] music video. I dunno… Something nice. I feel like we all need that right now.”
